I'm sorry to disappoint you both, but I don't know the name or manufacturer of the one you called the shiny one. I have had that fabric in my stash for many years. I bought it because I loved it, but until now hadn't used it. The the other was the last of the bolt I purchased about a month ago. It's a batik, but I don't have any left and have sent out the pieces, so no info on that one either. Sorry!

I am so excited! I am counting the minutes until I get to leave work and go home to check the mailbox... 45, 44, 43... I sure hope the mailman brings my first squishie!

LOLOL I took the day off today (which ended up working out well with the snow :-P) I am hoping my mailman will bring me something but I have one F8 already that was hand delivered to me last night from Buddy'smom :-)

Okay for those four who receive Izabella's orange fabric she wrote her note all by herself. It states "Hello Please use purple and white. Thank you Izabella" It is so cute lol She wants a doll quilt so it will match her room :-)

All righty - here we go! I received my first squishy today - from fryguymoore. :) It's a really nice black tone on tone, and I'm excited to work with it. I'm not sure what I'm going to do. We're still getting acquainted, it's not screaming out yet, so we'll have the "getting to know you" talk. :D

I mailed out 18 F8's yesterday to: bookworm, buddy'smom, carsey, Chigger Holler Quilter, Diecy, DonnaDrum, fryguymoore, goldendog55, jaciqltznok, janecat, JudyG, Ksea, letsquilt, Lillie, OK Darla.

Everyone else will be getting a different fabric. That one is in the washer now.

I received my first F8 today! Now I get to start the block making! Yeah!
I managed to get all the rest of mine mailed off this morning, so let the sewing begin.

I thought I was going to have to have stern words with the mailman if I didn't have any F8s waiting for me when I got home, but he came through! I received a bunch, from pattis47, vivnme, oatw13, donnad and twospoiledhuskies! Some really cool fabrics and I have tons of ideas already. I promise to raise them right!

I got mine in the mail today.

No F8's for me today. Hopefully tomorrow. I can't wait to get started sewing blocks. I have been cutting fabric and will have mine in the mail on Monday.

I can't think of any color I don't want. If I had to pick a color I don't like I guess it would be gray :) Actually, gray would probably look pretty cool.

No squishes here. I am glad our squishes are arriving.

But...we may be getting a foster kitty soon. My daughter thinks we put down our cat (who had kitty Aides) in order to foster cats. That is not what happened, but I see her point.

Checked my E-Mail and my order for my fabric is expected to be delivered Monday - according to the USPS delivery confirmation.
Oh, my feet just won't keep still. I am going to try and use this time constructively(?) and catch up so I can go full speed ahead next week. Sounds good,huh?

Pattis - Aren't those frogs cute? They will eventually be a charity quilt, probably for a group called Margaret's Hope Chest. They are a great charity who work with prisoners to provide quilts to their children on birthdays and holidays. Any pattern is great. Bright, fun colors, I think. Whatever you make will be perfect!

Obsessed - I can't believe you got so many at once! You had a fun mail day today!

None for me today.... I guess I will work on my blocks for the Blocks from the Orient swap. Is anyone else doing that one?

Oatw13 - those frogs are so cute and they won't stop croaking at me! They won't shut up! They know exactly what they want to be when they grow up...

I mailed all of mine on Tuesday a.m. I am now waiting, waiting, waiting. There is a lot of waiting in this line of work.

Block heading home today to fryguy, I hope you like it. I love how it turned out.

Holy smokes! I just decided what I'm doing for her block. Now to pry my husband away from his computer long enough to watch the baby so I can sew.

Man the mail is flying flying flying ... and I just hope I can keep up with the posts ;)

I try & sew when I feel good, I have a Dr's appointment this week hoping he'll give me a shot in my elbow, I have tennis elbow so bad and in my shoulder as well.
