I laid my blocks out last night and am IN LOVE!!! ;) I am thinking that I should use sashing to really make each block stand out. (I hate sashing btw...I LOVE the look of it but I always, always have a very hard time getting it all to line up correctly). What do you guys think?

That's one of the reasons I picked up a background fabric to use hoping all the blocks would go together nicely without sashing!
I was thinking a 5 x 6 arrangement would be 60x72 with the others used for something else or even a 5x7 would be a nice size and I wouldn't have to make my own!
Still thinking until I get them all.

Ok, I have to admit that the pink kitty from sewspecial to kysmommy2 made me oogle and awe. I really loved it. Well, the best happened. I got my own kitty! It's just too cute. Thank you sewspecial!

hmmm. Maybe I'll add a solid square between each block....then off set them on the next row down and so on....does that make sense? SOmetimes in the process of getting it from my brain to the keyboard it gets jumbled up and confusing ;)
Or...maybe I'll frame each block so I don;t have to actually deal with ten foot sections of strips....hmmm...input please!

Sounds nice. It wouldn't even have to be a square it could be a rectangle, maybe 6x12 then offset them the next row. I think I would like that.
I won't be able to decide!

Is there another opening and if so, who do I have to beg to get it> <grin>

Seriously, I'd love to be a part of this swap if there is any space.
