Some squishies will go out on Monday. Some may have to wait until the 25th (payday). An unexpected truck repair hijacked my postage budget :(

Just left tbe PO. Japan was $2.05, Austrailia and Canada was $1.10 each. Everything else went with a regular stamp.....

I was unable to get this groups squishies ready this weekend. I need to wait until payday on Friday to mail. They will go out next weekend.

Jaba, After some thought and re-thought, I picked a block pattern and finished your block. Was taking the camera into work this morning to post in my album, but the horses got out and were roaming the desert. So that threw off my timing schedule. I hate it when the horses get so smart that they can unwrap a bull chain (that's wrapped around a post three times) and remove the mater lock that was attached. When the dogs alerted me to the situation, three horses were just chopping happily at the hay stack but my one gelding was prancing around like something was after him. If it was an attempted rustle, they failed. I don't leave halters on the horses and without the halters no one can catch them. I put grain in their buckets and still had a hard time getting them back in the paddock. All is well now, and the master lock is locked tight . . . and the horses got extra grain for their troubles.

i received 3 squishies today. i usually turn them around right away but i slipped this morning and fell down a flight of stairs in my house. nothing broken, but my beauty pageant hopes are over, at least for a while. ;). Remember NO F8 from Me! i am just making blocks for you fine ladies!

Oh paperpeiceme I hope you are not to banged up. Be careful of those stairs. I am sure they move sometime when we are not looking. Arizonakat I also do not leave halters on my horses and good luck to most people getting near some of them. I can walk right up to them but not most people.

Arizonakat, I can totally understand. No one could catch our horses either except for my A &M mare who would try to squeeze into the car with you. Have to tell you that we had one horse that I had to open all the dividers in the trailer and leave him in there at rodeos so he wouldn't go untie or open gates of the other horses. He liked company when he played Houdini. What a wonderful life that was. I miss the land and animals...live in town now.

OK, so I gather up all my envelops that have multiple fabric and the envelopes that are going out of country (I thought) this morning and rush to the PO . . . only to find that I don't have my out of country envelopes. So where are my out of country envelopes? In the beginning I thought that joining this swap with my GD was a good idea.But I'm dealing with disorganization. She doesn't clean her work space. She's trying to cut when I am. Trying to use the iron when I need it. Her envelopes are everywhere! AHHHHHHH! And where are my out of country envelopes! I guess I'll need to go home tonight and meditate. Where would I have put them to keep them safe?

Never fear Quiltaddiction, your envelope will be at the PO tomorrow . . . even if I have to cut a new one.

Oh I have that problem when mom and I quilt together, she is disorganized as well, and when I need the iron, so does she. LOL We have fun working together. Next time I am gonna have to get her involved with this too. I think she would like it......have to knock down her fears that she can't do something. She is a member on the board just not active at this time.

All my F8's went out today, Thursday 18th, from Australia......so everyone overseas give them about two weeks to get there. From past experience some take less than a week and others take a bit over two weeks. But at least they are on there way....

i am a little more laid up then i thought i would be, and this week is fair week, band lessons and VBS so DH has been driving the kids all over while i am mostly sitting in my lazy boy or sleeping. My face looks terrible, and i have an off assortment of bruises but i hope to get back in to the sewing room this weekend.

I got all my out of country f8s out today. The post office employye was so distracted trying to pick up my friend, he sent all my envelopes out as letters. I didn't have to fill out customs.
