Me too, Alikat, I had trouble with a few not arriving.....both ways.....makes you wonder what happens to them as they never make it to their destination.

I finished up another swap commitment so now I'm working on getting my fabric washed/cut/stuffed this weekend. I finally decided on fabrics. :)

In yesterday's mail I received F8th from Gaijin.

Today I went to the quilt store, only wanting to get silk thread to do the binding on a T-shrit quilt and walked out with my fabric I fell in love with and will use for this group. I am excited about getting it ready and will be mailing out on Monday.

Best part of the fabric, the quilt store had all fabric at 25% off. no minimum. Fabric is now in the washer, and once it is dried and pressed, will be cut and into the envelopes.

Finished a grownup for Abby's Mom. I have two going to you so I may have the wrong material in the wrong album.

All are washed, cut, packaged, ready to be mailed. I will be mailing all on Monday.

I have included a note with this one. I am not wanting any brown or green, use the other colors in the fabric please.

Sewing like crazy and will give you an update tomorrow. Just want all of you to know that if you receive from me and have postage due, please let me know and I will send it. Have had all my packs weighed and this is what my post office manager has told me as far as price. There has been a couple that was sent, completed blocks, that the postage was due. I will gladly reimburse you, don't know what else to do. I have received some that came with the regular 47 cent stamp that I had to pay another 20 cents for. Not a big problem here but please let me know and I will send you the postage due. My postmaster has told me it is entirely up to the post office employees as to how they interpret the package. Not quite sure what is up with that.....

Wow. Well that explains a lot actually! I have received F8's with various postage but they must have all been accepted because I didn't have to pay anything for them. When I sent out my original 15 F8's, I was charged .92 cents for each domestic envelope. I sent four more at a later date, got a different PO clerk, paid 0.66 cents for each envelope.
So I'll echo Jaba's sentiment - if you guys receive anything from me that is postage due please let me know. i will gladly send you the difference.

I will also send any added postage if you get mine and it says postage due. Please let me know. I was going to us my scale at home, but I may just do it at the post office. I can compare and see what happens. I will weigh here and see what I get when I go to the post office tomorrow. Will see what happens.

I did notice that if I use a ziploc bag it is more money, if I wrap with saran wrap it is less postage.

Haven't received any back from this group and waiting on 10 to send me fabric. I'm done until I get fabric, all made for maia and electra.

Jabq, that is perfect. Amazing how well you matched the pink. Thanks!!! I am planning on starting blocks in about 2 weeks....will be on vacation with family for a bit first. This weekend was commited to my round robin center....here it is just for viewing pleasure. I am very pleased with it.

By chance had that perfect color of pink, hope you think so too when you see it in person. It does match as close as possible I think. Your center is beautiful, I love it! Too bad we're in different groups, would love to work on it. Probably lucky for you we're not, I might have to consider just keeping it :D Did you paper piece all of it? That's my downfall, just can't seem to "get it together". So absolutely frustrating to me, I love it so much but just not getting it through my head, hands, sewing machine or anything else.

alikat that is gorgeous! it makes the center I made, look very juvenile/novelty. I am going to be starting sewing this week on blocks, i was down for the count most of the week and when i got to sewing i was making little stuffed animals for my daughter.

Yes. It is 4 of the Vermont Star blocks from Carol Doaks "50 Fabulous Paper-Pieced Blocks". I still have to remove the paper, get a journal, and make signature blocks. Glad you like it. I already can see what I would do with the first border, but, alas, not mine to do. (Sigh) I do, however, trust that I will love whatever my team does for me!

Paperpieceme, this is actually my second center. I ditched the first completed center because I felt it was too juvenile and decided I wanted "more sophisticated". A personal choice really. I will probably border the first and give away to charity.

just got back from the post office, and mail all the f8ths. However I think I messed up one of the international shipping, so it may come back to me, but of course not sure which one it is, As there are 4, and I only sent 3 so I think it just got a regular stamp.

All the ones going across the US, only cost me 46 cents to send them. And I had the lady at the post office confirm the cost. As for the international it just cost me 1.10 for the 3 that went. So I know I missed one of them.

Sorry I have been MIA I was in Ottawa for a work conference and boy was it amazing all around!
I also came home to find out the information on hubby is not good :( We go on Wednesday for him to get 12 shots in his spine. If that doesn't help they are going to go in and burn the nerve endings and if all else fails he is looking at a double fusion :(
I hope you are all doing well. I always love to see the chatter going on in the groups :)
