Can I ask all of you a favor?? As you make a block for me would you please put the name of the block in with it when you return it? I love knowing the names of the finished blocks!! Thanks!! I made albums for sent/received blocks for both groups and posted my lst picture to the Maia Group Sent!! It will be on its way home to Catgirl tomorrow..MIZ...

Mine are both headed home tomorrow too. I will post pic's in my Boom 10 Album I love getting them done and sending them home! Maybe i will have my quilt finished by October! :)

HEY I have not received any squishies! I have Jaba's and she has mine but we live 15 minutes from each other so I picked it up. Now I will do the mailbox waiting dance! Jan your getting yours finished back tonight. It was fun making and the first time I have used a 1/4 inch foot so my seams are right on. Its a bit getting used to, its not so fond of keeping the seams laying the direction I am feeding them. I took out quiet a few or backed up a few and redid them so it lay better on the back. Any suggestions on how to make this not happens as much. I used to be able to keep a pin in place til the last second but now it stops you 1/2" from the plate and I pull the pin it rides through and presto its bent the wrong direction again on the backside. rip rip rip. learning curve is slow around here.

I have received half already! AWESOME. I have a run in Portland tonight, so I am going to sew tomorrow! I won't even let myself open the envelopes because I will never leave the house if I do!

Good afternoon ladies, I just had a great question from joanelizbay asking about who the quilt will be for. It will be for an adult woman so I should have put in that I'd prefer no juvenile prints be used. However, beyond that, any brights - or bolds for that matter - would be just fine with me. Also, I'm sure I'd be happy with simple white or black or even grey if you are so inclined. Really, just do whatever will work! Happy stitching all. (FYI, I'm out of town for the day so my husband is picking up the mail. As soon as I get to open the envelopes, I'll post the names I've rec'd from. Thanks you fellow Maians. Or is that Maia'ites? Oh yipppeee! I received 5 squishies today! however I cant tell you yet who from as they landed at Jaba's house so soon as I can I will post a list for ya' all to see if yours made it here yet. It wont be a long wait we are having dinner at a fabulous Mexican restaurant she knows of in the neighboring town so it will be a grand night of margaritas! dancing on tables! waddling outside to our truck over stuffed and full of good company. I am looking forward to this. Wow dinner and NO cooking invovled? oh yes. I am off to sew on Marybeth's pretty pink butterflies for Charleigh. I know she will love this quilt. til she outgrows butterflies and sparkles and wants cats and princess crowns (both on the same quilt). I cant wait to see my block Jan made. I get to pick that up too!

joanelizbay- I can't get the PM to open. I keep getting an "ERROR" message. Please try resending it. If it's the same question that Janice McC posted about, mine will be for an adult also. As long as the background is cream TOT or COC print with NO orange used in my block, anything else will be fine. I do not like orange at all.

Libster, I got your pm..thanks for answering! I just finished another block. It was the lst time I had tried the pattern and might be the last! whew...it took awhile but I hope Terriamn likes it when she receives it!!

Finished up a block for annaquilts! I will be sending it out on Monday! I may have a few others finished up by then, too, but my 7 year old niece is wanting to have sewing lessons tomorrow! So we'll see how that goes...

Ladies this is my first time. How do I make an album and how do I look at someones?

I went up to the toolbar and clicked on Community. Click Albums on the drop down list. It's pretty self explanatory from there. Create your album, name it and save it. I first crop my pictures and then send them to my Paint program and resize them to 20%, rename them and save them. Then go back and download your pictures and save that in your album.
Someone more experienced than I am can probably explain it much simpler for you. Hope this helps.

To look at the Albums, just go to Community, click, go to Albums, click and there you are.

Tubsfarm. Libster did a good job of explaining how to make an Album. If you want people to be able to see the link to your albums in each message Ill try to explain how to do it. Go to your profile. Under "albums" I have more than one album so the word "more" is in blue. When I click on that it takes me to all my albums. If you go to the very top of Internet Explorer in the address bar and right click on it, copy the link, go to "settings" , down to Edit signature and it will open a window for you to type in a message or in this case "Paste" the address link to your signature. Then members can just click on the link in your messages and it will take them to your album page. Hope this isn't too confusing!!

Joanelizbay, on my profile page, it shows on the left, but doesn't show up in the album. I did it from my phone. Next one I will try from my iPad. Technology is not always my friend :(

Here is my fabric (hopefully, there is a picture attached). This group will get the striped fabric. Electra will get the solids. I have requested cream only with the stripes. This group will be mailed out Monday.

Molly, VERY pretty. I love the black and gold with Mizzou fabric! I had to have Patricia, the moderator show me how to put the link in my signature..Im not very tech knowledgeable either and have found when you do it from a phone who knows what might show up! LOL Its just easier to click on the link in a signature than it is to have to go to each individual member and click on their profile, then click on the album..just my opinion. Karon, did you get the list?

Its easier still if we post as we receive this way people can be surprised when they receive and then share with us unless the recipient cant post and asks for the sender to show us all. Just put them here in the forum and everyone can see with out having to go all over to check each and every album. I go to albums when I am in a swap with someone and its secret to see what they make and like.. otherwise I stay right here on the main pages.

So far 2 for everyone, got to get more fabric from brat though because I fussy cut those pieces so I wouldn't cut off heads. I was on a roll I guess, hope they like them or they'll have to throw away 2. Just got 1 of those cheap wipe off boards and thought the names were a good idea so everyone knows, but mainly so I remember what I sent.:)
