OMG, I just realized that one of my partners is a person that I do alot of chatting with on this board. I have never swapped with either of my partners and the other one also posts alot on here. Well gotta go get ready for my sons game. Its his last game with this team since he will be moving up to Junior High next year. Hoping they win and mostly likely need tissues since most of us get all mushy over the last game for our kids. I cant believe that he is old enough already for his last rec game. The time flies. crispy, not burned. if it's flexible, she won't eat it. hopefully, there's enough grease in there

is a piece of bacon with a santa hat on it. that's a for sure. if anyone has a request, let me know now, coz i'm starting soon on next year. I like to be early.

Lawsonmugs, love that M with notions. For all of you reading, my name started with an M and last name with a K. Like like like that ornament. Just may have to look for some of those to make ornaments for my partners. Know where I can get the little notion buttons to put on them. Oh, I just found another pattern to ponder. If I dont quit Ill have to send a flat rate box full just for this swap. LOL Have five different designs already to choose from.

i'm o.k. with the flat rate box. my christmas/hannukka colors are white aqua and silver, snowmen, snowballs, snowflakes, icicles ect. but i'll take anything.
the letters are from michaels, they are red and glittered. i got the notions from the button section, 'button it up' or 'jesse james' buttons. i love all fancy and plain buttons. at one point, i had all the buttons they put out, i have a quart bag filled with those buttons. plus a snack size. or you could put fancy buttons in the button section section on them. a plastic yarn needle, a small thimble or whatever. i think they're cute and you could even put them out all year.
soooo, i'll be waiting for that big box or ornaments, o.k.

kiffie, remind me to send you a bacon orni next year. i'm having a hard time downloading the dumb design.

Well I have to say that some of us in the SS swap on here have been in the naughty hole. I can now say that one of the other swappers here are in the naughty hole. I am not going to mention any names but you know who you are. Tried a sneak attack you did. LOL Thats okay though because I too have been naughty. So together we will lead all of the other naughty ones in a march. So, should we dig a hole like before or should we build a shack. LOL
I love this swap and all of you and I am having tons of fun.

Quilty, this swapper knows who they are. LOL I just love being naughty. Its so fun and the more the merrier.

As promised I have pics of some of the ornaments that I have put together so far. The folded pinecones are completely done, the quilted balls still need beading and sashing. I still have two other designs that I am planning on making if time allows. So, if you see something that you like speak up, I still havent finished or chosen the ones that will go out. I may even send more than one, two, or three. Who knows.

Mdall I love the pine cone on the right!! It look sooooo real! Isn't amazing how many pins you go thru on the balls? I have been making them for years and I always love using a white or light color for the second row. It just makes the pattern pop. BTW how did the last game of the year turn out?

those pinecones are just too cute! Hope my ornys arrive Monday to my partners. They went out in the mail Friday. I always have so much fun with this swap & the SS one. Yes, I'm one of the naughty ones down in the hole! But we're having a blast down there! It's too late to join this year, but watch for it next year for just oodles of fun!

Lynnie, there is a tute on youtube on how to make the pinecones. Will have to find it again. I just stumbled onto it one day while looking for ideas. No more did I find that and my quild announced that this is one of the ornaments that we will be making during our Xmas workshop. LOL I thought to myself, of course something I already know how to make. Oh well they are planning to make them in Xmas colors rather than brown so Ill join . in and have more for my tree.

Well, four of the kids just left with their grandparents for church, the last one is in his room catching up on his horror movies that he cant watch when the other young ones are here, and DH is getting ready to head out to work. Birds are going out today, tonight, and tomorrow so he will just be in and out for the next two days. I so miss him and worry about him when he has to work all these hours back to back, but that is what pays the bills. So, I am off to my sewing area in hopes to get lots done today. Well, my ornaments are done and ready to mail on Tuesday. I make wooden ornament for package tags that I personalize with the person's name, and every year I make an extra for my tree and an extra in case of need - this year 2 of the extras will go to my swap names. (My tree is all hand made ornments, hundreds and hundreds of different ones.) They are hand cut, hand painted, and have been doing them for years, had a wholesale ornament business for years until I burned out a couple years ago. Now, I just make a dozen or so of each every year and have fun with them.

well it's 36 degrees and the furnace is broke! I MAY HAVE TO GATHER PINECONES TO BURN! OH WAIT, I REMOVED THE FIREPLACE 2 YEARS AGO. hmm. layers of clothing is fashionable right? well, I'm gonna be a fashionista today! lol I hate ohio weather. grumbling and looking for another sweatshirt #$@^%$#**(^&* Judy, hand cut? wood or paper? both sound warm and inviting as I picture them on a tree!

I really Love them all, the colors are great and my tree is all homemade ornies..5 foot tree and even the angel's dress was crocheted by my daughter who died 9 years ago this month... I love the handmade things and make my own every year to give out... have 130 made but need to assemble and do some gluing...Beautiful work, Mdall

Hey Ladies! Hope everyone is having a great weekend. My Mom and Brother and 3 of our Gkids spent the night with us on Fri., so needless to say we've been busy. Church and then of course breakfast out with friends and I'm finally getting a chance to get on the computer when the sheets are washing! Great ornaments everyone! I'm also making pinecones and balls and some snowmen. Will post some pics later.

it tooktill the 26th to get it fixed. I llived in the basement, unheated and unfinished. boy, I was glad I was a quilter.

a sad story... so darling hubs has given up of trying to get Zoey her meds. we decided to go the bacon route, hoping the grease helps with the furballs. but now Zoey runs fromher daddy all the time. won't even eat treats he gives her. he's so sad about it. if he rolls over in his sleep, she takes off. so sad, so very very sad:( dh is sitting there like he needs the bacon, (not). hopefully she'll come around. she doesn't like men, a bad man must have done something horrible to her when she was just a kitten. He's moping around, coz his Zoey is his princess. oh well,,,will ck in with everyone later.looking forward to more ornaments.

o.k. some more sadness or grossness:
so last night we went to see the Escape Plan, pretty good movie. because i'm such a loving wife, I know my dh loves nestles crunch bars. he likes the ones I make coz the crispness is fresher. sooooo,,,,last night b4 we go, I make him some. I put it on parchment paper then to the freezer coz we were leaving in 15 min. out they come, I bag them suckas, then shake off the parchment paper into the sink, (don't want crumbs of chocolate laying around, my kitty Zoey might eat it and get sick). then out of the corner of my eye I see a crumb. Pop it in my mouth, something didn't taste just right. so chewed it. aaaarrrggghhhh, cat treats. yuck. couldn't get the taste out of my mouth. brushed, flossed, and mouth wash. still yucky. took about 1/2 hr for that taste to go away. Zoey is sitting there looking at me, 'mom, give me some'. dh is laughing so hard, he almost fell off the couch, he was choking so hard.
soooo, is this sad or funny or gross.
