LOOKIE WHAT SANDPAT MADE FOR ME!!!! Patti and I decided to call and open together, so she was on the phone with me when I opened this beautiful little gem!! You cannot appreciate the detail in the quilting without seeing it in person, but it is unbelievable!! Thank you so much for such a beautiful quilt (it's Shadow Trapunto for those of you who aren't familiar with the technique) - and one that I will treasure for always!!

By the way, Patti's modem is down, so she'll have to post what I sent her sometime next week when she's back on line! She says hi to everyone and she commented she's getting lots done without having access to the board! I think that'd be true for most of us, eh?

So many beautiful little quilts. You are all doing such nice work. I have completed my top, and today will begin my attempt at free motion quilting. I was fortunate enough at the retreat I was on this weekend to have someone teach me to do free motion quilting on my machine. So I am off to my sewing room to give it a shot. Of course I don't mind! I'm running way behind on your little quilt, as I just haven't had as much time to sit and do it as I expected to! Guess that's what I get for planning an applique quilt rather than a pieced one... It was going to be 18x24, but it looks like I'll have to make it be 12x18, so that it actually gets done somewhere in the vicinity of the month (actually, it should be done before then... I hope!), I hope you don't mind!

The February Doll Quilt that I made for jljack aka: Janice, went out in this morning's mail. Janice has asked me to post pictures, so she can see what is coming her way!! :thumbup: She & I just can't stand the anticipation, of waiting to see them. Janice, I so hope that you like this little labor of LOVE!! :D I had such fun designing it & making it for you. My DH thought I should keep it for myself, but I told him, No Way!! :D He is so funny. Okay I am just finishing the binding and I should be able to amil out the quilt for Krazy4quilts in the next day or two depending on the weather! Last night I could see my grass tonight I have about 6 inches of wet heavy snow! YUCK!
But I really hope you like what I did for you! I have a few firsts in it! So here I sit with my fingers crossed until you get it!!!
