Last night got a good start on ube's mini..a couple of finishing details and I can get it bound and on its way....my biggest stumbling block is work on M and T, then have 30-35 people over for a potluck dinner and meeting on Saturday. I've been cleaning this past week.

ube, I love it...just got home from work and put my feet up to enjoy this delightful call to day....Will post a picture later....Thanks so very much and the extras touch my heart...RWE said it all....

Thank you Chasezzz for posting a photo of the quilt you sent me; for some reason I can't upload a photo from my Kindle; guess I'll have to dig out my old HP digital camera and charge the battery.
In the mean time I thought I would share the quilt label on the back of the mini I made for Chasezzz. We are having a retreat weekend and one of the girls asked if I could bring the mini I made for my partner for a show and tell (sew and tell) as we all worked on a Vintage Farm Girl project last year; so I'm waiting until Monday to ship it out. I love the theme this month.

The label is actually from clipart - I did a search on farm and this came up; perfect.

I hope ok can post another picture. I added a button and eye to finish the look. It looks better with the additions. I some how got the center quilted square crooked and put a button over it to camouflage the obvious.

That is awesome Ube, I love it.

I love it, too. My Grands love the rooster...they have chickens at their farm. 11 yo GD commented on the button on the sun and how it made the quilt shine. I wouldn't have guessed it was a cover-up as it looks like its supposed to. I'll get a picture and share, and thanks ube for posting the picture.
Yes life has gotten in the way here. I hope to get ube's quilt off tomorrow or Thursday. MrOK and I have been fighting nasty colds for a week now. Couple that with work and life on a real farm, it has slowed things down a bit.

Feel better soon ok. It is hard when you have to keep going when you are sick. I understand and please take your time, getting well is more important than a quilt.

Hug those grands for me.:D

Great minis, ube! Wonderful work as always!

The mini dabbler made me arrived today. She already has posted the great Down on the Farm label from the back...so ta-da! Here is the front! It was a chicken/rooster month for most of us! Love the barn, pieced laying hen and the cow applique. She also included a mini kit for a 3D table topper. Thanks dabbler!

Oh sew cute, Chasezzz. Just to buck the trend, ube is not getting roosters or hens;).....but it is on its way and should be there Monday. I think I am on the mend, wish I could say the same for MrOK.

Chasezzz, that is so "down on the Farm". Love that chicken in the barn block dabbler. Your own pattern or?

Today was a fun day! A group of us QB ladies had a Meet & Greet in Lakeland, Florida. We met at the Fabric Warehouse, did some shopping, then all had lunch. A few even brought their DH's. It was so great meeting everyone and putting a face to a name that we are so familiar with. I thought it would be nice to share a picture with all of you.

our farm always had flowers all year of some kind and so there was always color, and yes I had a rainbow fence, it was my paint job, it was so much fun,
