Here it is I hope you like it. Jan I will be mailing it out today or tomorrow |
That looks really good! I need for it to rain here so I can get some stuff done!...don't send that bad stuff though
|
Excellent job mgrhs! I'm so glad you were able to wrap it up. I'm sure it's not been easy having both quilts staring you down.
|
Wow Wow those are great. I will have to go back and see what the round robin is all about, and practice practice so I will be able to do this kind of work.
|
I love it, I am thinking on the backing. I have a lot of printed fabric , I think I will cut it in squares for the back :D :D

Yes I used the waste away canvas and counted cross stitched the kittens. I got the free patterns off the internet, actually downloaded some that were pictures of iron on directions. I love to do cross stitch and this was something I could do with my leg raised. |

I just looked at the pictures I posted earlier and saw I had posted some that did not show all of the kittens.
|
Oh Barb those kittens are just adorable! The sweetest things I've seen in a long time. :D I've got you marked down for mailing tomorrow.
The deadline is today, so hopefully everyone that hasn't yelped yet has theirs done and ready to mail. The small groups are doing great with only one month left to go. :D Some of them have been sneaking ahead as one is completely finished! :D The large group I know has had a rough month, but that's okay. Only two more rows to go. |
Sorry Elizabeth....mine is not done...will get out asap.
Margie |
I know Margie, the dog bite, it's okay. Is your arm doing any better? Hopefully it hasn't gotten infected?
|
My arm is doing well, but there was so much swelling it is taking a while. I have had to keep elevated a lot, so that makes it really hard to sew lol...especially since it is the right arm. The swelling was from my kunckles all the way to the armpit which made movement both painful and difficult. Will try to have out early next week at the latest. Tks for asking
Margie |
Oh yuck, that sounds just awful. What did they do about the dog? Hopefully it wont be able to bite you again.
|
OMG -- that is cuter than I thought!!!!!
|
IT WAS MY DOG!!!!!!!! A gentle loving golden retrievor. He had been at the vet and had a tranquilizer...she did NOT tell us that is could make him aggressive and we should put him in his crate. He was half dozing and had his head resting on my feet...I went to get up and startled him, he turned around and BAM...was awful. He never knew he did it..was having trouble walking and couldnt find his crate when we told him to get in.
I am so angry with the vet. This could have been prevented. We took him to a behaviorist and she said it was the meds and did an evaluation on him...he is fine. Consulted two other vets...said it was the meds. Thank God because he is our baby. Margie |
My rows went out today
|
My row is done, I'll get it attached tonight and out in the mail tomorrow.
|
Margie , I am so glad both you and your dog are ok...it really bugs me when my doctor doesn't explain things but a poor ANIMAL. iT COULD HAVE MEANT HIS LIFE..Bless you both and am sending you a big hug  and pup to
|
Thanks Ruth.
It was really traumatic. I was in hospital ER, crying, in pain and telling nurse how wonderful my dog is and it would be like ripping my heart out to have him put down. She said...he must be if you can lay there in this condition saying it..usually people are saying going to shoot the animal. I am upset and will never use that vet again. I understand that the reaction was not her fault, but had she said crate him and let him sleep it off, it would not have happened. He was fine in the morning. Oh well, I am healing and dog is fine, just going to different vet from now on. Margie |

Mrsj-I added row 4 for you. Hope you like it!
The light green really looks gray in the pics-but it is a real soft green. Wait till you see it in person  Look'n good! Purplemem-it is coming to you! Off in the mail tomorrow. Mailing to your new addy. Are you getting settled in? |
Good for you 2 doods! That top is looking amazing. I'll have to wait and see what purplemem adds before I'll have any idea how to put the last row on. :D
Oh Margie that's just awful. I know it's hard to believe but a good portion of vets will keep the animal overnight rather than tell you it's because of the side effects. I found out that could happen from our local Spay and Neuter place. It's good to hear everyone is back on the mend. |

Mary, here is yours. It sure is fun to see how they all are coming together. I'll get it out in the mail to Margie tomorrow. Hope you like it....

I"m running a little late get my next row out. I have everything I need, I've just been distracted with the wisdom teeth thing. I'll definitely try to get it sent out before the end fo next week.
Sorry  |
It's okay Colletta, I saw your post about that yesterday and wondered if it would cause trouble with the row. I've marked it as hopefully going out 5/9, so just let me know if you end up needing longer.

SQUEAL! I LOVE IT! CAN'T YOU SEE ME LEAPING IN THE AIR!??
I made my dh run to the computer to see. This is just fantastic! Elizabeth, when you get the HRR from me, will you please post? I don't have that ability at all, no internet either, just using the library computers. Alice - yes I am moved in and the sewing room is coming along. I almost had a panic attack, I had placed the IRR in a "safe" place and couldn't find it until yesterday! I turned that sewing room upside down! Now I'm working on that one - but the idea I had turned out too "busy" looking. Off to ponder again, not much time now! Purple |

Checking in from New Mexico. We are traveling across country back to Tennessee. The visit to Utah and family was awesome. I am so ready to be home though! We have two more days of traveling ahead of us, but hopefully they'll go as smoothly as today went. No hitches at all! *unless you call the dog piddling on the gas pump a hitch...I just call it funny*
I saw my top! It's simply marvelous!!!! *jumps up and down* I cannot wait to get it home and on my bed! I will be back in TN Sunday night and hopefully getting the row finished and sent off by Saturday next. (Hoptefully earlier) Elizabeth, you can send your row out to me on Monday, and it should get to me by Wednesday or so, and hopefully by then I'll be done with the April row and ready for the May one. I'm so sorry everyone that I was not able to finish my row in the timeframe. this trip just came up so suddenly that I didn't know what else to do. But I'll be back on track shortly! You are all doing fantastic jobs with those rows! |
Glad to hear your trip when okay mrsj - how is your grandma feeling?
