I was saddened to hear of the loss of your beautiful granddaughter. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Just as Quilty-Louise said, there are plenty of us on the SP board who would be willing to help you out, should you need it, to get your SP package out. All you have to do is ask.

And, I, like Onaemtnest, completely understand if you are my SP. Family is far more important than worrying about sending out a package in your time of grief.

I got My SP today ! Time to gather some goodies ! Question for you all. If someone were to make some little thingy , lol , what would you like ? Or do you all like suprises as I do ?

i would like a pic (quilt, wall hanging, cross stitch, mug rug [you get the idea]) of me lying on a beach on an isle somewhere there is turqouise waters and sand holding one of those drinks with the little umbrellas in them. can you make up that thingy? need my mailing address? oh yea, if you can somehow incorporate my two furbabies in the pic (wall hanging, etc) i am sure they would appreciate it. i cannot go very far without them, they wont let me!:D

Yes it could be me and that would be nice... LOL Got the last thing for my SP package today and it will g out on Thursday...

okay i am having a sewing machine crisis. my electronic brother quit on me right in the middle of several "must get done" projects. something is seriously wrong with it but i havent a clue. my old trusty babylock is having a tension adjusting problem so i keep tinkering with it but cant get it right.... just yet. i had it serviced not too long ago but the tension just aint right. i bought a singer 15-91 but havent had "Jody" checked out yet. i could tinker with her also to make sure she can get me through my crisis.

i am getting very frustrated about now. i cannot not put thread to fabric (my drug of choice) and i am ready to tie a bungy cord around my waist and jump.:p well it's about 16 wind chill today so i may freeze before the bungy cord snaps me back up. maybe i'll jump tomorrow.;)

I've also been away from my computer for awhile, seems I have alot of reading to catch up on. Got my new SP name though, thank you Lori.

Robyn so very sorry to hear about your loss. You and your family will be in my families thoughts and prayers. Grandchildren hold a special place in our hearts and please know your quilt board family is thinking of you.

do not get your hopes up it is NOT all going to sp's just 2 of the packages
are for my sp's. But I am NOT saying which packages are for my sp's.

All the rest is going to other friends (not on QB), but I wanted to get it all
ready so that I only have to make one trip to the PO this week.

I see yhou sneaky peaks trying to find the address labels, I didn't fall of the
turnip truck today (at least not yet), I did remember to "hide" the labels of
even my friends addys.

i stopped by a strip mall gnc store just a bit ago to buy some potassium tablets, b-complex vitamins, vita d tabs and magnesium tablets. there were several police cars around the store in the mall. i walk in because the store wasnt full of cops. as soon as i step into the store door an officer tells me the store is closed. i walked next door to radio shack to ask what happened and the clerks tell me the store had just gotten robbed.

who robs a vitamin store and for what..... detox pills and protein powder to jump start their 2012 weight loss program? hmmm.. if i had not taken so long in home depot i maybe could have been in that gnc store during that robbery. or just maybe i could have gotten my vitamins first and been on my way home. who knows. oh well at least no one got hurt and just maybe some robber is happily starting their weight loss program tonight.:cool:

I haven't been on the board much lately. On Dec 12th I had surgery. They Dec 28th went out of town and came home on the 1st. While I was gone I got a lot of sewing and reading done. I also made 2 batches of fudge. Today I was diagnosed with lateral tendonitis in my left elbow. I got cortisone shots and now have it elevated and wrapped. Ouch. Hopefully, I will be able to sew real soon.
