Well, I haven't seen any definite clues that match me yet, but am really enjoying seeing everyone's goodies. I was amazed at the amount of things stuffed into that flat rate envelope. Whoever did that needs to post a tutorial since postage rates are rising again.

All one has to do is pay FLAT RATE BOX/ENVELOPE and whatever you stuff in goes! Believe me if it can be folded, rolled, flatened you can put quite a bit in such.

The stuff I sent needed a box and unfortunately did not think of using the flat rate box and used one of my boxes and I ended paying more than I should, but I don't mind messing up once regarding postage cause its fun doing this. I am on the next one though get a box for amount I want to spend and fill it up to brim and than some.

Krystyna did you learn to "cast out 9's" in school? I don't know anyone else that learned that but it looks like maybe you did. I still use it to check my math...learned it in 5th grade and have a minor in math from college...still love that method!

What's cast out nine's? I just know that you keep reducing it down until you get a single digit. If you do numerology and stuff like that (I don't) that's how it's done. Keep adding ladies!

OK I have a question. How can we track a package if postal won't put it on there web site.

I sent out my package yesterday via USPS with delivery confirmation and in checking this morning to start tracking it stated the following "Delivery status information is not available for your item via this web site. A return receipt after mailing may be available through your local Post Office. "

This makes no sense at all to me. When I did eBay years ago we were able to track DC packages. When did this change? And why would I need a return receipt after mailing from my post office if it hasn't been returned to me. It also states "a return receipt MAY be available" and not that it is available. Why are we paying for such services if we can't track it? Just does not make sense to me.

Its been years since I've used postal to track anything. I mostly buy online and it is shipped to me and I'm able to track it and so can the company I order from but then again these usually come by UPS/FEDEX, etc and not thorugh postal.

I will be 67 this month and this is how we learned math when growing up. You can find more info here..

I do all my postage on-line and occasionally will get the same message if it's not scanned into the system yet. Some local Post Offices don't scan the package in and so it might take a day or two to get through the regional sorting facility to get scanned in. If you mailed the package at the Post Office, that message should not be occurring. Check with your Post Office if that's the case.

I know about Flat Rate postage -- have been shipping that way since it first came out. I was just amazed at the amount of items that were put in the Flat Rate envelope -- I'd never have managed. That is why my (tongue in cheek) suggestion of a tutorial. You took it way too seriously.
