Oh I'm getting worried here, I ordered some pretty fabric that should have been here by now. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it arrives today so I can get my FQs out today.

I mailed my 2 packages today both are a little northwest of me.... :)

And...they are off!!!

First one is going Northeast of me to a place where the population was 136,416 at the 2010 census. This place is also unusual in that many of the homes in its Old Town District were built prior to 1920; whereas many other cities in the region demolished such houses in the 1960s, this city decided to preserve them.

Second one is going Northweset of me to a place where the population was 3,677 at the 2010 census. This place is a former Quaker town that played a role in the Underground Railroad.

They should both be there next week. :D

Just a note to let my secret partner's know that I do have your fabric and I was so hoping to mail it before the weekend but unfortunately I will not. I will be getting them in the mail Tuesday at the latest. Hint to one of my partner's it would take me 15 hrs driving time to reach your town and it is one of the States I have not visited and would love to .
My other partner you live so close to my God-children and it is one of my favorite State.

Here are my beautiful fabrics from Maps and Createfourpaws. Maps sent me lovely blenders to use with my upcoming boom blocks (the boom should use them up to the last scrap) and Createfourpaws sent me bright sunny flowers to enjoy. I think those all have the wall hanging swap with their name on it. Thanks Maps and Createfourpaws I love them all! Can't wait til the next swap this is so fun!

My sweet swappers. I had to leave for Idaho for my step fathers funeral. He passed Sunday from cancer. I was suppose to be home today but yesterday when I went to visit my inlaws my 94 year old DEARfatherinlaw had fallen and broke his shoulder. Mother in law is STRESSED and sad. They need someone here 24 hours a day. I stayed. Sister inlaw is looking for a rehab facility who can give him proper care. I dont know how long I will be here. And in the meantime, my FQ's are in Texas..... I think hubby would laugh himself silly if I asked him to prepare and mail them lol. Sould I PM my two swappers? I had you for red/white/blues...hint.

That's about 150-160 miles east of us in Twin Falls. I was just curious. Thought if it was closer, we might be able to a quick meet or lunch.

I grew up in Idaho and my best friend lives just outside of Twin Falls. Meeting for lunch does sound fun! It's sweet of you to think of it. I'm not sure how long I'll be here. We put grandpa in the hospital yesterday. Maybe they can rearrange his meds so he's not so loopy and will cooperate with us again. I'm fixin to take Grandma over now. :D

Helloooo! Sorry I have not posted here for a white. I have been battling an upper respiratory infection. Spent several days in the hospital over the weeks. Home now :) I am waiting on a zip code for one of my partners. One will def go out in Monday's mail the other as soon as that zip gets here :)

I sure hope you're feeling better! I hear quilting is a good home remedy for what ails ya ;)

Sorry to say both of my squishys went out a day late. I ordered some fabric online, the price was really good, and they were supposed to arrive on Thursday. I got an email Friday saying some of the fabric was sold out and did I want the rest. So off to the store I went and picked up some replacement fabric. They went postal yesterday, and should be there by the middle of the week. Actually in about 15 hours (round trip) I could deliver them both. :p

SheriR, I am sorry to read about your family and if it is ok with you I would like to say a prayer for your family.
Queenof2802, this is good news that you are out of the hospital and God's blessing for a fast recovery.

I will try to get my packages out tomorrow and if not no later than Tues.

Sorry I have not mailed my FQ's yet. They will be in the mail on Monday. My sister lost her battle with cancer yesterday and I did not want to leave her side for the last couple days. Thank you for your patience.

Any clues on next months swap? I am going to sort my messed up fabrics later today so I can see what the heck I have. Then I will be up and running and ready to rock and roll for August! I can't wait to start seeing the 30's selections that arrive here. So far its been us side swappers posting away but soon it will be all the 30's fan's decorating the pages of the forum :)
