Yay... I'm working on yours today, but not finished. Maybe I'll be able to get it out tomorrow too. :o

No hurry! For some reason I kept thinking it was later in the month and I had to get this finished on time. Well, anyway, that's one project off the bucket list this month!

It's been so hot here it's hard to think Christmas. Hope to get mine done this weekend.

Oh I know what you mean - not only has it been in high 90's here, but my central air went out Tuesday late afternoon, they came out at 11:00pm to say the fan motor was d e a d!!! Had to order a new one, and it didn't come in until this afternoon...She called while ago, repairman will be here after 4. I feel like a caged animal! Too hot out to do anything, only to come back to a 'not too comfortable' house. Thank goodness for fans-with 5 ceiling fans, I also have 6 fans going! I often wonder how 'we' made it back in the 40-50's with only window fans - I just don't think it got as hot as it is nowadays.

It's 112 here today, hot, hot, hot and dry. Finally, next week the weather service is promising that we'll get our humidity and summer monsoon back. It's been a no show for most of July so far! Yuck!

Ok I think we didn't have air cond. in the car or stores and doctors offices then. It was very rare to have it anywhere. Now we are used to the comfort of it. Thanks for the collage of all our pretty hand towels. So pretty and all so different.

Look, look, look! I received my stocking today. Isn't it beautiful? And it's perfect because we do our Christmas in silvers and whites...needless to say I love it! And the coffee is from home roasted coffee beans. Wahoo can't wait I loveeee my coffee. The cute Christmas fabric she sent will come in very handy too. Thank you so much Karen! ( Chasezzz) Loved doing this swap with you.

I love the pine cone fabric, it's beautiful! Have them all around my house so I can relate very well. Love them until it's time to mow....pine cones have to be picked up first :) Those things can sure chip the blades and make them sticky too!!

Since I didn't end up with a partner this month, I've decided to send what Ive made to 1 of you! Shall I pull a name out of a hat? or does someone else have an intriguing selection idea?

How about a contest of some sort, if you are up to it. Or... just pull a name out of a hat.

Thanks for all the kind words! Had fun with the silver fabric, and the pine cones fabric also has silver glitter (it is one of my favorite Christmas fabrics). Sort of reversible stocking depending on the look you want...other side is quilted solid silver. DH roasts our coffee...hope she likes it!

Love the stocking Chasezzz! My MIL would be in heaven. She just loves pines and pine cones. Fantastic job!

Got my package from partner MizMelly today! Look at this gorgeous stocking! She used beautiful fabrics and did such a great job. The little 9 patches are adorable. Mine has little jingle bells too. She also knit me a cotton washcloth and gave me handmade lavender soap and a soap rack. So special! And Melanie made me a little 'holster' for a notepad and pen, with a loop to attach it to your purse. This is a wonderful swap... THANK YOU, Melanie!

These are all beautiful! "jester" stockings, love the antique looking lace and then one with a high heel. Beautiful 9 patches and so different. Goodies galore, great swaps ladies!

Thank you Mary. It was the first stocking I ever made. It's really been hot here. I just got home and it's 89 going up to 93 today but I bet it's even hotter where you are. I really hate this heat.
