Received my JULY SPAL pKg. today from FRICKLEs ( NICKEY). Thank you very much too. she jammed the box full with quilting magazines, an apron, lots of r-w-b fabric, lavender fabric, tape measure three embroidery projects, an tomato wrist pincushy( THE cat stole that one as she thought it was a toy for her), a cute little bag. I am going to give that to my youngest great neice who loves little purses. I have a nasty summer time cold so getting a pkg perked me up today... THANK YOU.

I've put most of my package together but need to pick up just one more thing. Then it will be in the mail on Friday, hopefully.

I received a box from Verna2197. I suspected I might be one of her SP's from her clues, but wasn't exactly sure. I hope she took a pic for me before mailing. Lots and lots of fabric, and magazines. Rotary blades, clamp sets, quilt labels, (which I so needed), sewing bag pattern, Christmas ornaments, handmade soap. I am sure I have forgotten something or two. The box was overflowing. Deltadawn it is just raining in Chicago. I'm about 4 hours away and we still have rain. Going to have to build me an ark before long. I'm ready for some 80 deg, sunshine, with a nice breeze weather. lol who am I kidding, like that is going to happen. lol Guess I can dream.

Ok I got my package mailed friday. Stuffed a flat rate envelope as full as I could, and sent it on its long journey.

Verna surprised me again today. One more of my wish list books received. This is better then Christmas I tell you. lol Thanks once again. I will have each of the books needed in the series I have. Great reading material! Feel spoiled. Was nice though, had some lousy news, brother-in-law has found out he has throat cancer, and possibly liver cancer as well. Once again Social Security send me another denial letter on my appeal for disability. So this surprise was a nice uplift for me today.

SP I am out of state but Dh did say I have a package there waiting on me. I wont be home till later this week.

My SP's package mailed today with expected delivery for Wed. However I forgot something so she will be getting another mailing.

Sent my SP package out today. Should have it by wed. Enjoy

received from Deta Dawn...first overseas package and what a treat...so many handmade things,, WOW...tea holder, tissue holder, notebook cover, and little tulip bag (thats what it looks like) LOL magazine, great fabric and a really cute embroidered wall hanging....it is hanging in my kitchen now....thanks so much, such a great month....when I was about 12 years old I had a English penpal and we stayed in touch for years....she married a solder and moved to the US and lost track of her....interesting

Just wanted to say that I received the most wonderful package today from Gaijin (Deborah).. she sent the a pattern and template that I have coveted.... (I now have the set of these I wanted so I will start to make some mini quilts soon) and a host of other goodies, including some fabulous fabric... but.... the most amazing item was the table runner that she made for me. She has used the most glorious fabrics and her workmanship is beautiful. She made and sent all this at probably one of the most difficult times in her life.... which make the gifts and certainly the table runner extremely precious! She even found out that it is my birthday next week and sent a card with... to be opened on the 24th on it.

This is my fantastic parcel from Starshine - everything I said I liked - and more! I'm over the moon to get my most favourite seam ripper - very difficult to get here (although I do seem to wear them out quickly..............hmm).
