Omigosh, this sounds fantastic! I have a basket full of "candy" squares leftover from making wedding quilted ornament favors for my wedding that I was unsure what to do with (besides more ornaments!). I will be PMing you!

Sewbigirl, remember to save one of each for your projects! Some of my "keepers" were sent inadverdently out in a summer swap last year, probably won't see that fabric again, drats.

Fiestypixy and celandine
WELCOME! We really gave a fantastic group! And yes, please share projects. My daughter made a couple of folded ornaments at Christmas. I'm impressed you made them for your wedding. I bet it was beautiful! I'm currently working on two commission quilts due before Valentine's Day. EEEEK!!! |

Wow! That must have taken you soooo long to make! I'm excited to get candy from you....I love purples. :D

WOW Beautiful Celandine!! I saw them as a kit somewhere - I think the kit was $40-60?? and only had enough for a couple?? Thought they were quite costly - does it really take that much in materials to make?? and are they time consuming? I ask because if not would love to recommend making them for our guild boutique in September!
Gus Yes - I will join the swap - need to figure out how many and will let you know this weekend :) |
