I rec'd this great quilt yesterday from Dragonfly Nana. What a lovely DQ of a hot air balloon that is detailed and embellished to perfection. In the top left corner she put her trademark of a Dragonfly. She swirled beads to accent the top of balloon and added button bows. To top it all off she added purple ribbon to lace for the balloons strings. Then to finish off she used the binding method (don't know the name of the of the technique that was on the QB earlier in May) ,but it has a flippy middle border and the corners are all mitered.

What a lovely quilt!!!! I have taken several pictures of it but none of them seem to pick up the colors real well, so Nana, if you have a better picture, please post it.

How sweet! Paula, you are so talented!

I am still working on my May DQ for quiltymom.

Since I got my machine back (one of them) it is time to get it
finished, but it won't be nearly as awesome as the DQ's that
I received from Sue, but it will be "crazy" (mainly in shape).

Thank you all for the nice comments, I am loving this swap, I think everyone did a fabulous job and it is fun seeing how different people do different things. Thanks again.
