I've been down for the past week with my Crohn's. I went to see a rheumatologist yesterday. She was wonderful. Very gentle and kind. She really listened as well. The best part is that I left her office with hardly any limp from my right hip. She figured out that I had bursitis and gave me and injection that took away a lot of the pain. I have been limping from the pain in my right hip for almost 20 years.

Happy Mother's Day everyone! I am celebrating with my grandchildren. What a fun and busy weekend with these two. Gabi is almost 9 and Zach is almost 11. I had forgotten what it was like to "Live" in my car....ball games, horseback riding lessons, lunch, dinner,etc. Mike (son) and Joanna (best DIL in the world) will be back today..they participated in a 10 mile mud race..sounds really terrible to me but I can't wait to hear their stories.

Well, SP, your package left the local PO yesterday and should get to you on Tuesday. Hard to believe since you are just about 402 miles away! I could have brought it to you much faster! MapQuest says it should take about 7 hrs. to drive from my driveway to yours! Your town is small only about 2000 population. Do you know who you are? Your zip adds to 28 or as Krystyna would add it would be 10 or 1..go figure!

Thought I'd pop in. Hope everyone had a great mother's day. I was very surprised with mine. My fiancée blindfolded me to take me to a fancy Italian Restaurant or I thought...He guided me through the "restaurant" of some wonderful smelling food, sat down and when the blindfold was taken off I WAS IN MY DAUGHTER'S HOUSE!!! She and her fiancée cooked their hearts out for me and I couldn't stop crying and laughing. They got me good. Starting to see pkgs coming in so that's great. I'm headed off now to my MRI. Hope everyone has a great day!

I love the pincushion and scrap bag! I have read the Jennifer Chiverrini book, but I can let someone else read it! I didn't get it very well in the picture, but there is an excellent little brush in there to clean my bobbin area...cute scissorrs...scraps of black and fat quarters of my favorite color!:)

Will be getting my package sent hopefully tomorrow. Probably could have mailed it Monday but I was relaxing on Sun. and didn't get revved up on Monday after work. Tonight I should have the energy and mindset get it together. SP we share something in common, something listed in the survey for Lori.

I mailed my SP's package today. I have had her before, and this package is going way West of me. Expected delivery Thurs 5/15, which I cannot believe it will make it there that quickly. I am thinking more like Saturday. Let's see if the post is correct on their expectation date. lol

I haven't been on much as I am trying to put together a Direct Sales fundraiser for our Quilts for Kids Chapter. Been a lot more work then I anticipated that is for sure. I just hope we get some support to help fund us, especially for all the effort that is being put into this.

I am praying for everyone that is ill, or has someone ill in their family. I wish the best for all.

Looking forward to seeing more pictures of packages.

My package was mailed today to a city that had a population of 2,850 from the census of 2010 (that was the newest I saw online). Have had you before.

And mine was mailed yesterday with Thursday delivery! Seems like a long time since you aren't terribly far from me! Hint: we have some things in common and we both frequent another thread here...

My spal box is on it's way west,several states from me. Hope she likes every thing, didn't get to make much I've been taking care of sick hubby.

Is anyone else having trouble when they try to type a private message? I can not copy and paste either. Sometimes I have to press the key down 3 or 4 times and space bar won't work right. I spent the $ to buy new computer and still having problems

I subscribe and can't wait for it to arrive..it is only a 4 time a year magazine..seems like it takes forever for a new one to hit my mailbox. I saw them at my LQS and decided you should have one! Lori I have had those problems but thought it was probably just ME.

I mailed my SP's package early this morning and it is going across the ocean. I know the deadline to mail international was the 10th but had a lot going on this weekend. Whew postage is getting so expensive these days, maybe we should go back to Pony Express. Well maybe not LOL. To the recipient of this SP package, I hope you enjoy "the goodies" I selected for you. Sorry Lori for being late in getting my package sent.
