I have trouble super small so hoping my partner doesn't mind at least 10" square! oh please oh please. also waiting to see what colors ideas sound good with them. Sunflowers or perhaps brighter? pink flowers on white? so many choices! so much to come up with lol. cant wait to get the list and my partners name and we will take it lickity split from there!

I think I know what I am going to do now. Where I live flowers outside are only in bloom in the summer. I also seen some of the cutest examples of abstract mini quilts.

My lil quilt is approximately 16" x 16.5". A tad larger than I originally wanted. But since I adapted a wallhanging pattern, I got it as "mini" as I could while making sure the design shows.
I'm ready to quilt it now.

Can't wait for partners! I am happy with whatever size for the one I receive, but my mini finished out at 7 1/2" square after skinnnyyy binding. Here is a teaser showing binding.

Chasezzz nice teaser. Is your binding a complete separate binding or the kind from back onto the front? Just getting ideas for what kind I should do? I like the colors.

Difergie, art quilts are nice. I would be happy with one or traditional. I love them all.

Susan, that is a separate binding done the way I usually do on more "normal size" projects. Sewn to the front and hand stitched on the back.

Question...is everyone putting a hanging sleeve on the back or no? I have a little iron hanger in the kitchen that says Welcome across the top. It has a wooden dowel for the hanging sleeve to fit through but I also have a couple of the round curtain hangers on the dowel so you can just clip the wall hanging on. Just didn't know what everyone would prefer, maybe a question for my partner.

Chasezzz thank you for that information on your binding. I plan to do a complete binding, but it is something I need more experience with. I guess this will help me get more experience with that to prepare me more for a full size quilt. I have only completed one full size quilt many years ago, so I am a learner, but loving it.

Well Kiffie wrote me and I can hardly wait making her a prairie girl wall quilt something aka Little House on the Prairie maybe some indian beading with calico blue .. ok ok maybe not. she might kill me which could be painful knowing how many options she would think of when she opened that package. revenge is oh so sweet... not into revenge so not asking for it.
