Your not kidding. But, I think I will finish up a few things I'm working on....Then....I'm going to give it a try. I LOVE having all my tools in one spot. And, I never thought about making a case, so my hoop would be there too. :) Oh yeah, perfect for travel. :)(giggle) I'll keep it in mind if it goes well and we are ever paired or are secret partners.....lol (hugh grin)!

Yay! I got a lovely gift from Nancia this morning - just before going to the foot doctor - so I got to open it in the waiting room and made everyone there jealous. It's very pretty with a lovely floral fabric and a perfectly toning ribbon and contains goodies that include a pair of 'proper' sewing scissors which, until today, I was lacking. I took photos but am waiting to see if Nancia wants to post her own. So thank you very much Nancia - it's going to be very well used.

Thank you JuneBillie, the bottom of the pin cushion is a stiff cardboard covered with the cushion fabric and glued to the bottom.

I got my needle holder today also. I had to laugh because I had Nana20010's name and she got mine. I got this very creative needle holder along with a nice size seam ripper, needle threader (which I can always use) thread and a wooden container with applique needles. She used my favorite color which is brown and did not go unnoticed. I am so pleased and I certainly will put my name in again for another exchange. Here is a picture, I hope it does it justice.

AND . . . I was just recently whining because I had no mug rugs and was having to use folded paper towels . . . soooooo . . . she SENT ME A MUG RUG, TOO!!!! :thumbup: Had to brew myself a fresh cup of tea, before sitting down to post. I got a wonderful needlecase in the mail yesterday. I love it. All I know is that it was from Robin from New York. She didn't give her Board name. I e-mailed Caroline last night but haven't gotten an answer yet. It had a lot of goodies in it, too, and I dearly love it. It is in my favorite color, too, turquoise. I only wish I could get pictures on the Board, so I hope Robin took some pictures of it before she sent it. I just can't say how much I love it. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much.

Kehoeta, that sunbonnet sue is adorable, and the matching pin cushion. We just have sew many pretty and interesting needlebooks on here. None are alike, and all are very nice.

Here are pics of the needlecase I sent to fmhall2. Front, open and back, as well as a picture of the stilleto I made (the blue one). She said that she liked blues, so I used a fabric that I had and loved, but b/c the print was so large, I couldn't figure out what to do with it. This seemed like a perfect use.

The needlecases are great! i missed this thread. If you do this again I sure would like to join in.

Beautiful needle case and love the beaded pokers.lol, can't for the life of me remember the word for those, old age getting me down! I have been wanting to make some of those but haven't as of yet. Very nice.
