Yeah it's finally 4pm here... opening up my treasures... oh my god... love everything (Star Shine) thank you so much... A tim's hortons gift card, you must of read my mind.. I love tims ~ fabric is perfect and clips too - scissors, I was wanting those little snippers.. and a perfect bag to carry all my treasures in.. it was hard not opening it..before hand..

She sent be brown batik fat quarters, a pretty coffee mug, my daughter tried to take. A cute fabric box some sugar free werthers candy, a nice Christmas card, a package of needle threaders, fiskar scissors, a seam ripper, a craft pattern and a tomato pincushion. Thank you so very much Marsha. Oh and there isc2 Christmas fat quarters I am going to use for a fabric box. MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone.

Everything else is from my secret pal: four fat quarters, Santa fabric, fabric yardage, soap, a cute ice pack, a ceramic measuring cup set (shaped like a crock), fabric charms, a lint roller, a wicker wreath, note cards, a note pad, a cute snowman pin made from part of an old spoon, pins, zippers, ric rac, frixion pens, a yo yo maker (yay!), and a small fabric bag with wet wipes, a swivel hook, and sewing machine needles. Oh and chocolate, too! Thanks maggy!

I think I got pics of it all. So much of it that I lost track. LOL As you can see Dedemac really set me up good. I would list it all but then we will be here for a while. Dedemac the machine cover does fit, thank you so much. I imagine that both the boys and I will be using it but of course me mostly since its on my main machine. I will share with them though. Thanks so much again. Now off to fix some dinner, plan our day to use all those seasonings for the game we get and then I do believe I am going to start on the Quilters Apprentice Book I got. I received an awesome package from homecaregiver, (Pat). Thank you so much, so many goodies and something for my doggie as well, he also thanks you.I got a picture froma, needle threader,window catcher, an angel christmas ornament, 3-hand made dish cloths, awesome charm pack,5" squares RJR, some thread and awesome christmas fabric andbeggin littles for my Whiskey, he loves them. I received many wonderful things from my SP Red Garnet 222. Many colors of thread, scissors, patchwork star ornament pattern, a cat thimble, 5 wonderful Christmas/Winter fabrics, Jar Candle "Candy"-it is the cutest accessory for my jar candles. It has quilting/sewing bobbles on it. Love it. Christmas tree ornament-so cute, a Christmas book and a beauty of a bag to put everything in. Thank you so very much Sandy--I love it all. Well worth the wait.

Yes, I am sorry about that, I have a full time job, and two part time jobs, so I try to post when I can. I am also a bit shy about jumping into conversations, so that is also why I don't post much. I have to say, I didn't give you much to work with but you gave me a most perfect box!!! I cannot thank you enough, as I love making donation baby quilts for quilts for kids. I have been in my room looking for a pattern to use already for the material you gave me. You did a great job and I thank you again!!! Merry Christmas!!!!

Sorry I missed the opening with everyone, I had to work. And on top of that, when I left work, there was snow, sleet and ice on the roads so I drove home ever so slowly and made it in one piece! First thing I did when I got home? I opened my package of goodies of course!! Thanks sooooo much Neesie, you sent me an AWESOME package. The first pic is of everything than I broke it down so you can see everything up close. Check out the hat, it has owls on it, isn't it adorable! I will definitely be wearing it! And the tote is so pretty, as are the fabrics and everything else. I LOVE it all Neesie, thank you so much!

Oh my gosh-I got so many fanstastic and beautiful things from cheesehead-she is so talented ! I am so luckyyyyyyyyyyyy!!! I got 2 quilting books using fat quarters,4 patterns to make lots of fun stuff,7 fat quarters,a bag of lindor truffles,peppermint soap with an embroidered apron on it,a beautiful embroidered tissue holder,a fantastic winter scene table mat,hexagon template,very cute appliqued snowman door hanger, nice :osnowflake coasters,color catchers, a very cute snoopy mug rug with matching mug that my son will probably claim , light up tea candles,3 very beautiful ornaments,a jelly roll,and a kitchen towel, very cute applique snowman and trees.. I think I got everything listed on here and will try to get a picture. Thank you so much-I really love everything!! This was a lot of fun. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!!!

everything is so wonderful ! I am so excited to use that new triangle ruler...both rulers are great- I don't know how you knew I needed that compass- but that is sure great timing! and the tiger tape...oh I love that stuff & didn't have that *kind/style*. the patterns for the table runners are wonderful- the batiks are BEAUTIFUL! and go really well with some other fabrics I've been puzzling over. the quilted bag you made- I can think of so many things to use that for- it will be used A LOT! the folding scissors...what a wonderful TREAT! so much easier to stick in my little travel project bag. everything is wonderful- I feel so lucky. :) I will stop gushing- here's the pictures. |
So glad you liked it all kariboo but you didn't have to wait until 4:00 your time, you could open when it was 4:00 Eastern time, sorry you didn't realize that everyone could open at the same time and just figure out what time your time is when it is opening time EST(eastern standard time). So keep that in mind next year. I was very tickled when the T H manager told me you would be able to use it. I was also tickled when I saw the daisy fabric. Merry Christmas.

Hi everyone! Sorry I'm late in posting but I was not at home at the 1pm time. But, now, I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to Dwina (Toomanyufos)!. Wow, did I hit the jackpot! Look at the pics. Fabric galore; fat quarters, half-yards and yards. Love the blue Daisy Chain yard by Amy Butler! Also, a candle, cross-stitch kit, lemonheads, 1x5 inch ruler, Janome screwdriver tool, ceramic bell (wonderful for my collection) and a sweet little cross-stitch piece. Look, it says "A Good Book is The Best of Friends." Oh, I just love it all. Toomanyufos, you were a great Secret Santa. I never guessed it was you! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. This is the first year I participated in this swap and I can say it truly was a great experience. You are a wonderful group of ladies.

Question for all of you tea drinkers. I am trying out some of the teas that Dedemac sent me. Does some teas leave your tongue feeling a little tingly? Nothing bothersome or anything just different. I am mostly a water drinker and have never tried any of the flavored hot teas or anything.
Dedemac, I am currently sipping on the apple cinnamon Chamomille tea you sent and reading the Quilters Apprentice. I must say a very good tea and even better book. On Chapter 4 already. |
