well I finally got to open my secret Santa today, I LOVE everything I received, Madame Kelly was MORE than generous. Instead of fat qrtrs she sent full pieces!!! and row markers and pins and a tree skirt for me to do!

In mine as well...still no word.

Life just went crazy over Thanksgiving, we had 16 people here for 3 days, and yes they all stayed at the house. 2 weeks ago my husband was asked by his work if he was willing to relocate to another state, so we went to Oklahoma last week to check that out and he will start on January the 5th and look for us a house and then me and the critters will follow. I LOVE everything I got and cant wait to play with it, regretfully it will probably not be till after we get moved and I get us unpacked

Dear friends, it's with a very sad heart that I post this update on Pat625. I received a PM from her daughter, telling me Pat passed away, last week. She sent it from Pat's account, if you'd like to send a note for the family.

Oh no! Prayers are going out to her family.

I will keep her family in my prayers as well.

Her family is in my prayers.

I was just going to PM you that I had heard from her daughter as well. I told her how much I appreciated her taking the time to let me know as many of us here had gotten to know and enjoy Pat through her SS postings. She had such a sweet personality and such an upbeat nature, even while in the hospital. I'll miss her and will join others who keep her family in their prayers.

My Prayer's are with Pat's family also. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. We will always remember her & her wonderful nature. God Bless you all.

Thoughts & prayers going out to Pat's family. May God keep them in his loving arms at the very sorrowful time. We were all blessed to have know her from this site and she will be missed.:(

It's a sad day on QB when we learn that one of our own has gone to the big quilting studio in heaven. We'll all miss her jovial nature & her great quilts. I hope that her family knows what a joy she was to all of us here. My prayers are with them through this time of healing.

I'm so sorry that my post ended up so ill-timed. I was replying to a previous quilt by Wonnie. I am very sorry to hear about Pat. Though I didn't get to know her on the QB, I can tell she was a blessing to many of you who had that privilege.

So sorry to hear about Pat.

oh so sad to hear such shocking news , she will be so missed here on board,my prayers to her family ,but I,m sure Pat lived life till the fullest and her love of quilting and making friends here.well all I can say is God Bless Pat and family

Just read the sad news that Pat passed away last week. She was a very nice person and we will miss her and her quilts. My prayers are with the family. God Bless.

So sorry to hear about Pat. I didn't get to know her on the QB but we are a "family" of sorts and I really feel for her family. They are in my prayers. Peace to Pat.

I'm very sorry to hear of Pat's passing. Although I did not personally get to know her well, she was loved here on the board and will surely be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends.

I know this is not the correct place for this post, but hopefully it will be seen here.

I participated in Secret Santa 2013.

Life has been 'interesting' in our household since my dh had a workplace injury in August. Christmas was quiet and I did not notice that I had not opened a Secret Santa package.

Fast forward to today and I was rummaging around in a cupboard. There in the back was a US Priority Mail Box. Strange.

I first thought that dh had bought something and tucked it away, but nosy me I looked at the label.

Wow was I surprised.

Then I felt guilty. Poor Judy must think me the most ungrateful person around.

The box was full to the rim. Patterns, coasters, treats for the cats and dog, a batik jelly roll, fat quarters tied with a 2/5 inch strip, luggage tags. Tea, a thread holder another holder for thread, bobbin and a magnetic strip for needles, a beautiful owl and more.
