A FQ (Fat Quarter) is the vertical half, of a half yard of fabric. It's roughly 18" x 22" or whatever half the width of the fabric is. Most people buy them already cut, at places like Hobby Lobby, LQS, Joann's, etc. For the four FQs, choose four different ones, you think your SS person will like. :)

The 4 FQs are sent, in addition to the $20 gift goodies.

Just got caught up on the zanyness here. We went on our last camping trip of the season this weekend and it was 32 degrees when we woke up this morning. I feel like I'll never warm up. May have to find the hole everyone is in and see what beverages are available that might warm a gal up.

Dotty If you were my SSR I would send some yarn, I am also using my scrap yarn to make hats my local yarn shop is collecting to donate to our local charities. They are looking for any and all sizes newborn thru adults.

Good morning all! I see we're all having fun with our elf names. Some pretty funny ones are emerging. Didn't get a thing accomplished yesterday except watch the Nascar race. It was Talladega's time & that usually means a really good wreck. My boy (jr.) durned near won too! Last lap crash foiled it though. Also, hubby came home for his monthly 3 days off. Wasn't due to be home til Tuesday or Wednesday. He'll go back to work Thursday after his Dr's appts. There goes my week! I'll escape today for guild meeting to rehash the quilt show though. I'm hoping to hide in my studio at least part of the time he's home to finish up on my SS box. I still have one or two items to make.
