Well..... here is my wall hanging. The first picture is as it is right now. The second pic shows some more embellishments I’m thinking of adding. I really learned a lot doing this wall hanging. I didn’t think of it until it was too late, to put white thread in the bobbin, so the back is really ugly with black and red thread showing on a stark white background...sorry about that recipient!

Judith1005 02-19-2019 06:08 PM

Aw, your little barn quilt is awesome. Each little masterpiece is a chance to learn something new.

Teen 02-19-2019 07:11 PM

I love it! We are into farming and it would fit perfectly in my home.
Very cute and well done!

I made a barn some swaps ago for the swap. It is now living some where else. Maybe yours comes home to me. I like the idea of how you added the plant and owl. Very clever!

Rumbols 02-19-2019 08:37 PM

PamelaOry love your barn whing. Also, the heart whing you have done Annaquilts. You ladies are so talented.

Paper pieced min and change of plans on which quilt I am sending

1 Attachment(s)
Oops! Change in plans. Who likes paper piecing and thematic Easter Holiday quilts? This will be a mini and I am willing to ship out of country. I just realized that since the wall hanging swap is on a 3 month rotation I will need to do this one before the previous one I just finnished. It will include these paper pieced blocks, made in a swap I was in, plus two more and will finnish under 24 inches. That is it for today.

Judith1005 02-20-2019 01:24 PM

It's darling Anna. I'm in for Easter. And, I'm sure there will be a few others as well.

Annaquilts 02-20-2019 01:34 PM

Great Judith! I will work on it and enter it for this swap so people can enjoy it for Easter 2019. I will most likely enter the other wall hanging on a later date unless it ends up being gifted. That does happen at my house.

Teen 02-20-2019 07:17 PM

Adorable blocks, Anna....would love an Easter themed WH. I find that I end up gifting much of what I make, too. Not how I start out but, ultimately, during the making of it, someone pops into my head that it would be perfect for. Lol.. I have a friend that saw one of the quilts I made for myself when she was over and just loved it...hence, she's the owner of it now.. I believe that's what this craft is all about...

amalia64 02-20-2019 09:29 PM

I am almost finished with mine.. keep changing mu mind on the size.
I send my WH to Marion Quilts on the last swap and received from jaba

ube quilting 02-21-2019 04:03 AM

Yeah! I finished my WHing and am ready to send. I just PM'd Rhonda to let her know. This has been a great swap even though I did not get in on a lot of the conversation this time, I enjoy going back to follow what we are all up to. I have been busy at work and dealing with a cold and so this has been an easy task to help distract my whining.

All the quilts so far are tremendous. I still have to get pictures of my creation to share. The finish line is close.

Darcyshannon 02-21-2019 08:51 PM

Well, speaking of gifting quilts, my friend saw my wallhanging that I was going to exchange and liked it so it is going to her.

Love seeing the Easter themed wall hangings, and I like the barn one with the details, Pam.

So I will watch you all get your wall hangings.

I'm done. I absolutely loved making this one for the 20th swap. I hope everyone likes funky cause I think this one qualifies.

I didn't title it but I do call it "Stardust" after the saying that goes something like, it is said "ashes to ashes, dust to dust. That's why I don't dust, it may be a friend."

Quilted wall hanging finished. Front and back. You can always turn it over and use it as a table runner at Easter. 藍藍

Judith...before I settled on the pinwheel design, I almost did that bunny one. I love it.

All the hangings are so neat. I really do hope whom ever receives mine is not disappointed. There are some hiccups in it.

I somehow missed seeing this fun quilt. I love pinwheels and the backing is 24 karat, love it.

Picture of Nov.- Feb. 2019 Wall Hanging finnished.

Last night I was able to finnish up the small Easter Wall Hanging for this swap. I stipled throughout the quilt so as to let the paper piecing shine and then I added a feather in the small border. It is a mini quilt, finnishing at 13 1/2 by 16 1/2 inches.

QuiltnNan 02-25-2019 08:33 AM

a great finish, sew cute

Annaquilts 02-25-2019 09:57 AM

It is so beautiful! R-Sea, I was wondering how your wall hanging was coming along. I love how it turned out but as you can see in my picture, I love orange and green together. I also just love Australia. Be still my heart. LOL Maybe this one will come home to me.

Teen 02-26-2019 10:40 AM
