I have a started a wall hanging but not sure if I will use for swap. I have another one I want to make, too, so I'll decide on the nicer of the two. One is using Stonehenge fabrics and the blocks are mini's...the other one is scrappy using modern....no polka dots this time around...at least not entirely.

I would so like to try this. Could you please tell me what a good size is?

Hi, Boop56!! Welcome. This will be my 2nd time participating and these gals are the best to hang with. The size is really up to you as long as it is larger than a mug rug and smaller than a lap quilt. So, go for it. My WH in the swap that just ended was 16"'square but this time my WH will measure out about 10x20"rectangle...at least..that is the plan. I personally don't have a preference but others may and may respond differently. Have fun and looking forward to chatting with you...

I am in! I was thinking I might actually still get away still with a winter theme wallhanging. I really like those.

Well....I am at the quilting stage for 1 of 2 WH's. It is so darn cute. Still going to make the second WH and decide later which one to swap.

This will be a fun project in the dark days of winter.

I too am thinking of joining yall this time. But, I will try to get it made before I sign up. I am thinking of Spring. Because by February, everybody is ready and waiting for Spring and just over the Winter drudge.

I would say, that I love aqua and purple right now. I'm also a bright fabric junkie.

I do hope that at least one of you likes brights. I am also loving Pink and Orange together. In fact, my two latest bed size quilts have been made out of Pink and Orange.

I found this darling stack of 2.5" squares that just screamed out to me to make a Wall Hanging out of.

My faves are red, black, and white. Or anything but blue. I am easy to please.Due to some medical problems, I am working on my wall hanging a bit early. I chose Spring flowers as i am pressed for time. Should be finished by next week; will let you know.

I am out of control!!! I have made 3 wall hangings for this swap that I have not posted pictures on QB picture thread for any of them until I decide which one I'm swapping. I'm stopping now to finish up some Christmas stuff but I keep getting inspired. I need to stop surfing the web...lol...

For color schemes I like more muted red, white and blue.

I like all colors. Not much on grays unles missed with blue n some star

I like most colors...not so much brown. Love scarlet and grays together (can you tell I'm in Ohio?)
Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving.....I am still full, ate way too much,:D but at least all the turkey is gone.

Got a panel today to try to use for this wh swap. I’m excited but nervous because I don’t have a longarm anymore so finishing this means trying to quilt on my own little Bernina 440QE. I love my sewing machine, but she sure doesn’t have much of a throat to squish that quilt through. I may have to rent some time on a longarm & do it that way, but first I have to figure out how I’m going to surround the panel. Much thinking & imagining ahead. I’m happy because I know I’m getting the upgrade to EQ8 for Christmas (thanks to my awesome Mom) so if I get stuck I can wait until then.
