My word is simple, and redolent of blessings, and I'm not saying what it is. I am starting on my postcard today, happy to relax after the backyard BBQ we threw yesterday. 97 degrees by the Bay...thank god our backyard has shade.

I'm having a hard time coming up with a word for some reason, but if someone is in the same position as me, and gets me for the swap, I like the words "travel", "explore", "adventure", and "puppy" :P (I'm happy with any word though!)

I'll see if my partner has a special word before I worry that I'm drawing a blank.

I made my first postcard last night! I like the idea, but really don't like my execution. It's the first time I've fused fabric, and I could have done much better with the background fabric. So, that will be my practice piece, and I have a few "lessons learned" to apply to the remake. Probably won't be able to do it until next weekend, but I'm ready to make it better :)
