Good Morning ya'll! Hope everyone had a great weekend and day off. DH was home yesterday (so you know how much I got done) and we had a fun, busy weekend with the GK. Plan on getting my sp pkg in the mail today, just have to get 1 more thing. SP you live North of me in my DH home state, you collect 1 of the same things I do and your zip adds up to 36.
Susan I agree with everyone else stand your ground, they need to learn to accept Meadow as part of you! But I also think you need to speak with them about it, maybe they don't realize he is not just your "pet". I'll be praying it all works out!
SharonAnne love it! Wish it stayed cold enough here to wear it. We're usually the coldest place in FL but don't have that many cold days. But it is beautiful!
Off Topic! We leave on our way to Ohio to see our new Gson on Saturday! We're going to stay in Gatlinburg for 4 days then on to Ohio! Can't wait to get to hold him and smell that new baby smell!

Sharon, I go au naturale by choice. My hair is about the same color as your, and I love it. The way I figure it, I earned each and every one of those grey hairs, and I am going to flaunt them!!! LOL Under pressure from DH and DMIL, I did color it for a while. But I am too busy, and frankly, just don't give ahoot what others think, so I never get it done regularly. That means I run around for quite a while with grey roots. I think that looks MUCH worse than just the grey hair. So, I say, flaunt what ya got!!!

Kathleen, we are staying in Chalet Village on Ski Mountain. Would love to meet, but have to check with the others and let you know. We are going with my parents and brother. We'll be arriving on Sat. evening and leaving on Thursday morning. Then off to see new GS in Ohio! So excited!! But will definately be getting my sp pkg in the mail (hopefully today) before we leave.

Good Morning friends..thanks for the advice... I am so standing my ground with Meadow believe me and dh is on my side. He reminded me this morning that the Uncle of dh has an OCD about being clean. So I hace come up with something to quell that one.. I am going to make him a puppy quilt that will go along with us for him to lay on. I also chatted with a friend last night about this and she suggested that I do a video of meadow and I working together at school, at walmart and all of the places I go...then we are going to send it to them. luvstoquilt thanks for the offer and it sounds wonderful. As christmas gets closer I will let you know.

Hey, Luv's, just find a picture of a cat, I use childrens coloring books, and use the outline for your aplique!! I had a really good coloring book at one time with all kinds of animals in it that I used for my baby quilts. It is hard to find them these days, the coloring books seeme to be much more complex pictures!! Have fun!

I think as I read about your dilemma, a key word popped out. FAMILY gathering. Meadow is part of your family. I say, if one member of your family is not welcome, then none are! Who do they think they are? Just cause they can afford such a fine house does not make them better than you. I am sure Meadow is trained to not chew on the furniture and to go to the bathroom outside. Heck, he's proboly more civilized than some kids I know! LOL Would they tell you not to bring your son? Ok, I'll get off my soapbox now. This seams to really have hit a nerve with me. Sorry if I over did it!
