MaryTodd I think it's wonderful! I'm loving the polka dot border. It's fun to look and see if I recognize any prints!

Well I decided since I only had the rows pinned together and there are 3 rows with white centers I will use one on top one in middle and one on bottom, the other row with part centers I am going to "patch" a color block over the top of the white center.

I am really liking it with the red on the outer 9 patches. I will post another picture when I get more done, gotta take a break from it now! LOL I am seeing spots before my eyes! I do notice a few duplicates but really not enough to matter. I put all the 2.5 squares in a baggie and shake, I will not put two colors next to each other, well I try not to! I think a planned scrappy that looks not planned is the hardest of all to achieve!

I'm taking an emergency trip to Idaho. I hope I've answered everyone's PMs and given my address for mailing. I'll randomly be able to check here and post, so let me know if anyone has any questions. We have a great group of 21 Cotton Candy swappers and 11 Batik Twist swappers signed up so far! I'm soooo excited!

@Motorcyclemad, hubby will be on the look out for your package for me. :D

@JudyVA, WELCOME! We really do have a great swapping group!

@My sweet swappers. I had to come to Idaho for my step fathers funeral. He passed last Sunday from cancer. I was suppose to be home yesterday but on Friday when I went to visit my inlaws my 94 year old DEARfatherinlaw had fallen and broke his shoulder. Mother in law is STRESSED and sad. They need someone here 24 hours a day. I stayed. Sister inlaw is looking for a rehab facility who can give him proper care. We put him in the hospital yesterday and I' fixin to take Grandma now to see him. I don't know how long I will be here. Hubby will put all your packages in a safe place for me.

On the way to Idaho Wednesday my sister Dori and I did some shop hopping!! We found a fabulous QS in Logan, Utah that was preparing for a sidewalk sale the next day!!! $1.00 per yard fabric!!! Does anyone hear $1.00 Suprise Candy?? :D

I put my package in the mail on Friday so it should arrive this week some time. Wish our trip to Utah had been planned this week so I could have gone to the sidewalk sale. Please tell name of shop and if it would be worth stopping at (as if any quilt shop is not worth stopping at). Thanks

Jannie, I think it's Stylish Fabrics on Main Street. In a big older building on a corner. :D the sales ladies were really really nice. Definitely a QS worth stopping for!

(I think it started out that way because I didn't think I would have enough different 2.5 squares) LOL how funny is that!

Now do I go back and... I don't think I even want to say it ! maybe I will just patch over the white centers! UGH... any suggestions?

I would take the two blocks in the second row that do not have white and add the center white, Then you could rearrange- two rows with white, two without and two with.

If you want the white covered in all of them, put a small applique in the center,
