Hello swap members (SM), I hope everyone is having a great day.
I just love all the different ideas everyone is choosing!!! The fabric. Patterns, and finished quilt ideas. You give me such inspiration for future projects.
I , being a female, (who can change their minds). I have decided to make my choice easier for everyone and will be switching to quilters cache, pattern, "streaks of lighting." I will be sending the background fabric, and you can use any color you like. I was hoping you would use a different color for each dark square block, verses using only 2 colors. It will be a scrappy quilt. My 1st scrappy quilt. I plan on making a 80" by 90-100" quilt. This will be a great way to use you stash, block. FYI, I should be able to mail my F8's out by tomorrow.

I am getting antsy to start on our blocks. LOL. But first I will finish up the regular boom blocks first. I love having the pattern already picked out for me.

Looking forward to starting this. Currently working on some machine quilting so piecing will be a nice break.

I am working on machine quilting now to doing piecing will be a welcomed relief. LOL. All Packages have been mailed. Sending everyone a tracking notice. Should all get them by Monday.
I enclosed a spread sheet with picture of fabric, pattern choosen and any instructions.
Note what Groovy Pieces says above. Any solid color that matches the material will work.
Happy Lab would like the pieces that are not white to be scrappy fall prints.
I don't know if Katrina wants us to use the yellow as pictured and I haven't heard from here. Maybe wait until Kelly gets back from vacation and she can ask her so wait on doing Katrina"s. Another note. I try to be so careful in making sure that everyone gets the blocks they are suppose to....but that said, I have an extra Kelly's envelop so if you did not get a brown envelop from kelly in your envelop...let me know.

I sent Katrina a message to get on here and check her PMs. Will get that info to you soon.

do you want all the blocks cut and fashioned the same way as you did? I noticed you have cut it differently than I would is my asking :)

Package just arrived! So excited! Just for clarification, I included the block with complete instructions with each F8. The spreadsheet says Crows Feet, however, each F8 has a different block pattern enclosed. This will be a Christmas Sampler Quilt(s).

I checked my package and everything is "A - okay." I will be start making my blocks at the end of this week.

I have my package opened it (it was perfectly locked tight when it arrived). I will start on Friday doing them figure two to three a day should be done in short order. I can only work on non clinic days but promise to get this done asap and back to you in short order!

Received package and have cut 1st fabrics. Ready to start sewing as soon as DD and DGD leave.

ok thought spread sheet was online duh its in the package. I knew that LOL. ok sewn Kellys blocks all done. made one error on another block waiting to hear what to do. cut a block 5.5 inches instead of 6.5 inches. I had this trouble last time I was put under. I lost all ability to quilt. I haven't this time thank you very much but this is something that I did a whole lot when I first had major surgery oh double joy. So forgive me when I make an error. I try very hard not to.

don't worry I thought that I was pretty lucky to be able to make my blocks and do things with some sense of order until today. I was making a block for the other boom and for some crazy reason nothing seemed to go right. I had to redo the entire block and I was so worried because what If I don't have enough of the person's fabric?????? HELP. Well it worked out ok, I had enough and got the block finished. Phew!!!!.
