Peeking in from gp 9, beautiful border. What exactly is that ruler called, cos I'm going to try and track it down over here.

It is called Double Diamonds. Two rulers come in the package (two different sizes).

Ligia and I have some exciting news. I submitted a photo of her center with the double diamond border on it to the double diamond website listed above. They immediately sent me an email asking permission to post it on their website in the gallery as a sample of what can be done with the ruler!! They said it should be posted early next week.

Okay, I have finally got Martina's done. Yes I know we have until November 1st, lol. I've just been working on this in fits and starts since I got it.

Kathy, ligia's center with row 1 got to my house safe and sound yesterday. IT IS AMAZING. Very bright. Now my mind wants to tone it down a little. I think I'll head into the purple/blue realm. Ideas are buzzing!!!!!

Martina, better hold off for a bit. When it rains it pours- my BIL is in the hospital. He has leukemia and it's not looking good, so I don't know if I'll be around for the next week.

I have to officially complain about ligia's center. It is hanging up in my room and it is talking to me. No, it is singing to me, but every time I see it, it's singing a different tune. lol So many choices.....what to pick? Good thing I have some time to decide.

Finally figured out how to sign Kathy's label.

I found the fabric to go on ligia's next border today. It is yummy - now I just need to decide which song I will listen to.

I did the Seacoast Shop Hop today and I brought the two centers I have along to try and match the fabrics. I am happy to report I found what I was looking for. I still think that I will only complete one to send to ligia by the deadline but thats okay because then I will have one to work on in the next round.
