Worked on my center yesterday so I could look at it awhile and see if I wanted to change my mind. Didn't even think about the pattern just liked the looks of it. Right 109 pieces later, what was I thinking??? and then after it was all done 2 sections sewn in upside down. Yuk!! Seam ripper today for sure.

Wow, I love it! Great fabrics!.....I really love the golds/yellows.

Thanks Cognito, I like it okay but i don't love it. Yellow is really not my color, but I liked the peony print. This is one of those vacation fabrics I saw and had to have it. Thanks for liking it, I love the pattern.

Sorry everyone... I wasn't trying to rush you! I start student teaching at the end of August and so I've got between now and then to get the "must do's" done... I want to make sure that I can keep up if things get a little overwhelming at the beginning of the semester. I'm a planner and a prepper - if I can have a plan, a back up, and a back up back up then I'm ok and I can sleep at night. I've got my center about 85% together - by tomorrow night I'll have a picture to show!

Jaba - I love your center. I could see it going into the rusts, golds, and browns if you wanted to "tone down" the yellow.
