How about a sticky note or similar?? Unless you want to initial on the back, in the seam allowance? Not a lot of room . . . . I agree that we all need to include some sort of label for us all to sign as we pass our packages along. Also a notebook as Sherry mentioned. Jane |

Jane........Okay, set me straight ! ;) ... this is my first time on a Round Robin and I guess my vision of what you all meant by labeling isn't the same as everyone else. I thought that the label each person made was to go on the backing when completed to indicate who did what row as opposed to a large label with everyone's info on it ... obviously wrong:confused: ... correct? If we label it on the inside of our individual blocks no one will know who did what unless the quilt is ripped apart down the road. WHAT am I'm missing ?:) .... obviously something very simple (it always is!) ... Hel-l-l-lpppp!

Wonnie, I understood the same you did but since someone(?) wants her blocks left loose I think they may be talking about labeling them so we know which are hers and others. But...I could be all wet. I often am.
mimim, that is one gorgeous child. Congratulations to all of you. |
Very pretty baby. I think JC wants to know which blocks came from who, just because she does not want her blocks attached and she wants to know which blocks go together. You are right, the names will not show up if you put them on the back of the blocks you make. Just put an address label on the back of the blocks you make for JC. Does this help?
Yvonne, there are several ways you can do a label for the back. You can send one bigger label for everyone to sign, date and put which row they worked on. You can also add your name, date, and the row you worked on. Another way is to send 4 smaller labels with your info on all 4 labels for the other members to keep and put on the back of each of their quilts. |
JC, thank you for the pattern.

Since my name is first after Sherry's I assume I am getting her quilt blocks first. I was just looking on eBay for hankies. I found some that are new from HongKong.

Mary, those are fine. I like all of them except the orange ones.

Here is a link on how to fold hankies into butterflies.
