Hmm true but it is great because the end result is so nice and I am also able to use up scraps. They let you use different fabrics as long as the pattern is the same. Yeah on not having to buy more fabric or running out and then having to remake a set to have them all the same fabric.

Hi Quiltermomma, it is a great tip, one of my instructors said to just make sure it doesn't change the color without the fusing underneath. I recently am working on a self portrait and my it would of added more shadows, which can always turn out to be a plus!

Never thought of that. Going to have to watch that on the snowpeople I am making then. To be sure is thin enough on edges. Thanks for that info. self portaint huh? You look pretty enough to do that.

Annaquilts,
Would you like a little peek at row?

d

LOL Whigrose. Ofcourse I do! Peek please!I am definitely the curious type. I know whatever you add will be great.
I am really enjoying this swap. Can't wait to see what everyone is adding and I am also looking forward to working on my next row.

Annaquilts,
Here's a peek at your sheep :-)

I'm almost done with the row. Still have to sew some of the components together and figure out some piecing make the height for one section. I 'borrowed' one element from your row but with a twist.

Ha ha ha I know the rest of it. I got a peek, na na na na na na na.

You will be getting Peggizo's by the end of the week I hope. Have all the designs traced I want, also the backgrounds are picked, just have to press, cut, press, and stitch. Just not sure on the sashing on what I am going to find to go with what she has, any further info would be helpful. I need to go to the chiropractor so will stop at the one store up that way I know may have something.

Whigrose I am loving it! The sheepies and fabric are adorable. Like the little scrappy strip too.

Can't wait to see the rest. If I am good girl will you post a picture of the whole row or do I have to wait till they fly home?

Beth, "Ha ha ha I know the rest of it. I got a peek, na na na na na na na." Rub it in girl! :D

Well, isn't Quiltermomma being a big tease to you - saying she knows the rest of it? I have to tell ya, the sheep are even cuter than the pic shows.

It was pretty funny here for a moment because I needed two little crows. I had thought to just trace yours when I looked up and saw my little wall mural right in front of me that has lots of little crows to borrow from. :-)

I would be happy to post (or send, which ever you prefer) a photo of your rows when I get mine completed. Hopefully it won't be too long now. I have another little project I want to do before I start on QM's rows.

Omgosh, I am so close to being done with Anna's row that I am giddy. Only thing is, I have to stop for now. Dh just invited me for a hot toddy and to play Super Mario. I know, I know. At our age... :-) ~giggle~

Anna, I have just taken a picture of my progress up to now. Do you want to see it as it is now or wait for the last piece to be made up then added? I am going to do a panel piece with a vine/flowers. The row calls for something 'soft' and this will be a an opportunity for some color, too.

I have learned two things working on your row- doing 'Country' is tough for me. It really has been a chore not to get primitive mixed in; second, I now prefer a zig zag stitch for appliqueing. I was studying your row and how you applied your applique pieces and decided to give zig zag a second chance - and I am so happy I did. It's way quicker and far less stressful for me. You inspired me to step out of my box. Thank you.

best,
d
