I said I was the question asker............. Is this a store bought gift? could part of it be store bought? As in a quilting book or supplies or something not related to quilting but related to Christmas? If it has to be hand made does that have to be quilted or as long as it is handmade like an apron or embroided towels? I know, I know so many questions but I want to get it right I don't want to disappoint the person I get. Be prepared I am sure I will have more questions.

I've seen the chat message come up a few times, but never gone in. I tend to do a lot of different stuff at the same time while I'm on the computer, answering emails etc, reading the news, as well as being in here. So I like wandering backwards and forwards between sites.

I'll take the liberty of answering for SD....The gifts are usually store bought sewing notions of some kind or books or rulers, etc. If you think your giftee (? :lol: ) would like the thing not related to quilting but related to Christmas...by all means...send it on! All of us here do hand made things and sometimes its nice just to get something..."store bought" if ya' know what I mean. Then...if you'd like to throw in a hand made bonus....thats just icing on the cake...I mean gift... :lol:

Yes, look at the top of the page where it says 'search' type in the screen name and it will list posts they made. click on one and then on thier screen name on the left above their avatar and then PM them. That's how I did it.

muffins, you can go to Private Messages, click 'New Topic" and type in Shadow Dancer and it will get to me. :)
