I haven't gotten an answer PPPPPLEASE tell me.....is this a store bought gift? or handmade? or could it be both? does it have to pertain to quilting or as long as it is handmade like an apron or something sewn. I see people have gone shopping I want to shop too but I can't until I know what I am shopping for.

Trupeach.. it can be either store bought or made . Last year was my first one and I was very nervous, so I understand. I don't know if you go to the search if last years secret santa is still available, that might help you figure out what kind of things to send :lol:

I can't believe there are 66 people and signs up just started I am so excited. I feel like a child the anticipation is killing me. I was the child that would search my house when I was young to find all my gifts. Then I would open all my gifts to see what I was getting and then re tape them. I CAN"T STAND HAVING TO WAIT.

Uh oh, looks like Terri has some competition this year.... it will be exciting to watch trupeach and Terri when their parcel arrives and they have to wait!! LOL

Panic is setting in, do you mean to tell me there will be a package for me sitting in my living room that I can't open???? Did I make a mistake by signing up for this?? I did that one time...and one time only....I opened up what I thought was a beautiful doll for me and was so excited! Remember when people made those covers for the toasters that had a doll on the top??? It was that for my MOM!!! I've never peeked again....

but last year...my SS package spoke to me everyday and drove me crazy!

This isn't fair and I am protesting.......I searched last years Secret Santa to see how it worked (i couldn't fine it) but last year the gifts were opened Dec 7 why do we have to wait until Dec 13????? Shouldn't it be the same date every year like the real Christmas? They don't decide one year Christmas will be Dec 25 and the next Dec 28. This is making me insane. Can we make it Nov 3 that would work for me I REALLY wouldn't mind doing it just a wee bit early.

LOL I picked the 13th for two reasons, the first that it is a Sunday, the second being that the mailing deadline is November 14th, and this gives the parcels a bit of extra time to get to their destinations. :)

You can do it trupeach, you and Terri will have to be support for each other for the extra few days! LOL :)

Trupeach....last year it was my birthday for the day that it was to be opened. It's not fair! I'm a day ahead of everyone, so I SHOULD have been able to open it on MY Dec 7 and not everyone else's. Just NOT fair!

It really is a BLAST ! I think the first time is the hardest because you don't know what to expect , but after that you relax and enjoy and actually look forward to it :lol:
