My family always disguise gifts when they wrap them for me - they know what I'm like! I've had CDs and books wrapped in beach towels and sweaters put in a box with a brick! Oh well, keeps 'em on their toes!

<stomping feet>

I agree if you are a day ahead you should open it that day and I wouldn't want you to open it all alone I will be WILLING to make a sacrafice and not wait for everyone else I'll open mine that day too and we can met in chat if I don't get booted from chat.

But if we did that, Shadow would hunt us down and SMACK us!
Don't want that happening!

SHHHHHHHHH maybe she wouldn't know we did it

OOOH, I'm TELLING...LOL...
That's right,...I'M IN!!!!!
I kept reading, and with all the encouragement, and then the squealing and squirming,...it's just too much like the good old days.
I love Christmas, but haven't been one of the kids in a long time. :D
So, that's at least 67, gonna go see if I can drum up some more participation!
wootie hoo...come out all you surprise and party lovers!!!!!

trupeach 10-03-2009 08:08 AM

haray......... mouse is joining in on the fun!!!!!!!

Who else is out there that is undecided? Stop being Scrooge just PM Shadow with your info. Haven't you ever heard the more the merrier?? Also if you join in Shadow might get sooooo distracted that Terri and I could plan our move as to how we will open our gifts without Shadow knowing it.

Lacelady 10-03-2009 08:30 AM

OK, I'll join in too, seeing as there was such an impassioned plea on a certain PDA - more of a shout really, and by such a tiny thing too.

Ninnie 10-03-2009 08:46 AM

Going to Mary Jo's today , and buy for my Secret Santa!! :D :D :D
this is sooooooo much fun!!!!!
32,000 square feet of material!

I see we are up to at least 73, if not more...73 is an o-k number, but let's go for a really exciting one.
Hey, if your on the fence...think of it, this way...you know you would spend the money on more stash anyway, this way, you won't have to find room for it, very long! - :D
(oh, can I wait for december 13th???
will I bust?
will I get my 'surprise' and faint from waiting to open it???
Can I hold my own 'surprise' in?
I always want to TELL...I get so excited...
I never do tell, but the suspense is so...
oh! I think I need some cheese and a chair.... )

*Edited by Shadow Dancer, personal information removed*

Esqmommy 10-04-2009 09:20 AM

I'm curious how I got about finding out what my person's likes/dislikes are. I hope they were chatty in their info to Shadow Dancer. It's challeniging to pick out FQ's for someone when I don't know what they really love. It will be good to get as much info as possible! I was in an LQS the other day and was thinking that I would much prefer to pick out something they would love, and not just my taste!!

huntannette 10-04-2009 09:23 AM

count me in

Dawn Hendrix 10-04-2009 09:51 AM

I sent in my info.. didn't send my likes and dislikes.. was I suppose to? Aren't yall mind readers and know what it is I LOVE and HATE?

Moonpi 10-04-2009 10:04 AM

Dawn, you have enough posts that by reading them, I could get a sense of what you like, but some newbies don't. They'd better start posting so their Santas can get to know them better!

crkathleen 10-04-2009 10:05 AM

I love fabric and chocolate. I dislike dusting and cleaning the bathroom. so anything in love department works for me!

all pretty and shiny, but not lonely!...
we need more ppl, gotta go get my jingle bells on

Mousie 10-04-2009 10:14 AM

well, I told Shadow that I was a flexible little mouse, but I do understand ppl wanting to spend their hard earned cabbage on something they know the recipient will LOVE...and...the longer this thread is, the more ppl we can lure for more fun
So...although I really do love all colors, I really love:
victorian romance stuff
orange reds, aquamarine blues...sort of a turquoisey
florals...mmm, scrumptious
brights
fuschias
wine with pinks
corals
books, toys, notions, laptop, lol
greens
purples and lavenders together with greens,...deelish
country stuff
anything in the rainbow
anything in a fabric store
cheese, lol
tiny red dresses
little tiny mousie shoes and tote bags, lol
grandbabies...oh, yeah, I already have four of those...don't give me an extra...I just adopted two more pets

Sassy Sally 10-04-2009 10:43 AM
