Ribbon embroidery can be done by hand and also machine. About a year ago I took a few classes on it with my machine. Didn't master it though. Looks like you have Abonda!

I so admire you folks who do the nice hand work/stitchery like yours Abonda. I have a hard time sitting and stitching. I like the results. I guess when I'm older and sitting in the easy chair, I can take it up. It'll be "the quilter I am tomorrow"! LOL
Oh and Krys--I only rip twice. By the third time it gets distorted and for me not worth it. Easier to start all over and put the offending piece in a crazy or crumb quilt!
NanaKathy55 has mine ready to mail, so I'd better finish up hers!

Well I finally got into my sewing rm after wks of co. and no electric for a wk...Feels like I haven't sewn in mths.
I went to bed last night with one idea for my partner using fabric I bought the other day...Go into the sewing rm and came out with a top totally diff with fabric I already had....Now it's embroidering label for back and getting it all put together...

I've had a quick look at your secret picture and think you've missed something. If you look very carefully at the bottom left hand corner of the backing, about a quarter of an inch from the edge, you might have to squint a bit for this, but the black and white runs into copperplate script and it says "Krystyna made me this way so I must be OK"

You haven't seen my quilting yet. Relax. Yours is way ahead. I just fudge my way through. Also, when the picture of my quilt to Grammy6 goes up I'll send you a PM telling you all about the dodgy binding, and you'll feel even better.
