Embroidery Library is having crafty designs on sale in case you want to use them for your mug rugs. Of course an embroidery machine helps, but thought to pass along.
I have mine ready to assemble, maybe Anna and I will get a chance to sew together and I will finish it up.

I haven't made a start on my Mug Rug yet as I have been suffering with a pinched nerve in the right groin......very painful and debilitating. Have been to the Dr and Physio and am now feeling whole lot better. Also I have a couple of urgent orders to complete. I have finished the wedding order of a hanger and lucky horseshoe ornament. I have two mug bags to make that will be part of a presentation gift for the two speakers at our annual quilters gathering Saturday week. I will attach a couple of pics of the Hanger and Horseshoe.

those are beautiful Betty J. I will be mailing yours out tomorrow. I was there today and filled the customs form out incorrectly, so they gave me another to take home and work on. lol

Hey everyone I have received my mug rugs from Jaba and they're delightful!

Nice mug rugs, & goodies, vovoa! So from those mug rugs, I deduce that two of jaba's hobbies are collecting thread (that is easy to understand!) & sailing. Am I right, jaba?

One is gardening and sewing and the other is because her husband wants to start fishing now that they will be spending time in Florida.

Received my mug rug from Dot. So cute. Bet you can't guess what it has on it. LOL Will post as soon as I can a photo.

Well, I'm back home and trying to recuperate after being gone for almost 3 weeks. I had a wonderful visit with my brother and his family and my son and granddaughter. I also had a nice visit with Pat (nhnative). I always try to see her when I am in Ohio. My 50th high school reunion was a blast and got to see several good friends who I haven't seen in many years. Now it's time to get back into quilting. Looking forward to see what October brings. :)

Glad you got home klaws. Thought we were going to be home tonight but late planes all day. We got from Orlando to Houston. No empty seats until the late plane tomorrow so hopefully should be home about midnight. Will catch up on Saturday

I received the most fantastic mug rug and gifts from my swap partner, Pat!! She sent me a darling mug rug with cameras on it, as she is a photographer. Also a needle holder and trivet with sea shells (looks like you enjoy the beach, Pat!), a beautiful card with a photo Pat took, a lovely crocheted doily (have the perfect spot for it!), and a postcard with lighthouses! Thank you Pat for making my first swap so much fun!!! Sending your package in the morning!!!!

Sorry that I am running late this month due to some health problems and having to be away from home. However, I am determined to try and complete mine tomorrow and have it in the post. I thought that September was going to back to my "Normal" but Murphy has had other ideas.

Murphy has his own set of laws, Betty J. Take care of yourself & don't stress over a swap. I'm sure you'll make good on it even if you're a little late. Just keep us informed.

I have finished my Mug rug swap tonight and I have it all packed ready to mail out tomorrow. Guess the mailing time will be approximately 10 days.

I just got home and found a wonderful swap package from lovethemgreys (Kim). Such a cute sewing machine mug rug and a beautiful black and white fat quarter, yellow print zippered coin and card wallet, a nice coaster and what a lovely card with a real quilt for the pic. Thank you so much and you did a great job for this being your first swap.

Did we only have 12 swappers this month? I see the pictures for four of the swaps, all very nice. I look forward to seeing more posted soon. Is everyone busy, over swapping or are the themes too hard? I plan to see this year out with the Mug Mat swaps but will possibly rethink next year as I am wondering how many Mug Mats do I need!

Would like to hear the views of the other swappers.

Yes, Betty J, there are only 12 swappers this month. I'm not used to that low a number ... I usually get around 28-30 participants, sometimes more, depending on the theme. I was wondering, too, what was different this month.

So what do other participants think about what Betty asked. See her question above.

CT, I think it is just the time of the year. School starting for those that have children at home, some going to college, some on vacation and other ones getting the gardens wrapped up and yards ready for winter. Takes a lot of time outside and preparation for everything to get done :)
For me this next one will be the oops....Leaving here on the 15th we think and then unpacking and getting things put away. Think I better just wait until November, for my sanity and so my partner doesn't have to wait on me.

Awwww .. okay, I understand, what with the move & all, that you will be a "tad" busy! Good luck in your move to your snowbird home! We will miss you though!

Robinlee & I had a side-swap this month. We didn't go with a theme. The only thing we agreed on was to exchange RxR patterns from our respective states. I tried several times to download the photo, but it failed each time. I don't know why, but it's beginning to irritate me! So, Robinlee, if you can download a photo of the items you sent me, please do so. I know everyone loves to see photos (because I do, too!) ... & while you're at it, could you download a photo of what I sent you? I don't understand what's wrong with my computer these days. Thanks for your help!
