It really kicked my butt, the leading is sewn down with a double needle, until this project I hadn't used on before. I enjoyed putting it together and it was hard to send it along. I am glad you will enjoy it in your office.
I keep forgetting to bring the one you sent me to brighten up my cube here at work. I have the perfect open spot for it.

Today I received a Yellow Rose of Texas from myJuly DQ partner, Createfourpaws! Love it! Very unique and says exactly where she is from !!!! She did a great job on the technique she tried for the first time! It now proudly hangs in my office! (she also sent a fabric goodie and a little notebook!) THANK YOU!!!

I am going to down myself for a few minutes. Well ladies, looks like I really didn't do a very good job this time, I didn't do what I was supposed to do. The thing was I couldn't find material for the colleges & universities, also found decals and all but the prices were out rageous! so I found a nice theme of a zoo, various animals and such. got the Ashville nc zoo and thought that would be ideal, but guess not. so ladies, I don't know if I should bow out gracefully for my blunder, and not do this ever again(ha!) I really did try, but guess it wasnt good enough. so ladies I apologize . so I will sit out for a time. all of you have a great day.

Well its been a frustrating few weeks for me - got back from Syracuse yesterday and am finally able to use my hand! SO relieved! All I can say is PLEASE be careful using your microwaves ladies. This burn thing has been a real monkey wrench in my life. Weeks of doing nothing is so frustrating!!! Anyway - on a happier note I received my DQ from Tam...Moo while I was away. Its is AWESOME!!! She did such an amazing job - so many hand written details for me to enjoy. Around the outside of Texas are facts and info about that wonderful state and on the inside are snippets of Tammy"s likes. The yellow sun button you see marks the area where she lives. I think this is a great interpretation of this DQ theme. It really gives me insight into Texas (where I have never been) and Tammy lol! A big thank you to her for all the time and creativity she put into this. I just love it. I was able to finish her DQ last evening and it will be on its way to her today. (Thank you for your patience Tammy - XO)

I got a great quilt today from jclinganrey...it shows 2 state blocks...1st is Indiana where she grew up and 2nd is Road to California where she has spent her adult life. Isn't it simply awesome? Thanks so much, Jane!
