well I have my 12 bags of strips cut and packaged. Only thing left to do is to print out my info for each bag which I will do tomorrow night at work!

You will enjoy this. It's my first online swap, but have done quilt guild swaps. They usually tell you to use good quality fabric (not Walmart) and just pick something you like. I usually keep an extra strip for myself, so I cut 6 strips of each fabric. If you don't like a few of the strips, they are always good for applique pieces at a later time. Just don't forget to wash, press and cut off your selvages. Some people collect the selvages for a reason that seems quite time consuming to me. Just have fun designing your unique quilt or two.

Heading for the washing machine with an armload of fabric! Just ordered Pat Speth's new book--Nickel Quilts and Borders: 7 quilts and 260 borders using 2 1/2 strips.
