Lovely blocks ladies.

NanaKathy your holiday blocks are very cute - it's Valentine's Day here today - and Lisa your's are lovely bright and summery.

I have also done a boat block - does anyone mind having two - it is a different style of boat.

Saw quilt at a show with 4 boat blocks anchoring (pardon the pun) the quilt corners, looked great!

I wouldn't mind two boats. I expect to get more than one star or flower block. It has been years since I participated in a swap. I am looking forward to this one.

Do we know how many people are signing on for this swap? Since we're doing sets of four, chances are we wouldn't get more than one boat. If we do get two, or more, I'm fine with that. I might end up dividing my blocks and making two smaller quilts if I get enough to divide the theme between summertime and 4th of July. All the red, white and blue blocks are fantastic!

Summer holidays down here usually mean either sun, surf and sea or countryside, camping and canoeing.

I love the wave print with the boat. They are both incredible!

I have had that wave fabric forever. I bought it for my DS's quilt but didn't use it and have been waiting for a chance to put it to good use. I had enough of it to do all my boat blocks. Yay!

What wonderful blocks ladies! The boat is one I have not seen before, DeeCee. We are getting quite a mix of cool blocks.
