You probably know more about it then I do, but when I did my applique blocks, I cut my background fabric 1/2 inch too large purposely, That way if they pulled and came out smaller I could still trim them to the size I wanted. Does that make sense? Leave them larger until after your pattern is embroidered on and then cut? HTH.

That is what I did, but they design did not lend itself to the 9.5" size so I need to add borders to fill the block up and make it look nicer. It will look more complete. If I get the two quilts quitled tonight, then will work on them and post a photo for you.

I'm beyond excited. I wish the blocks were already in my hands. We all will have a beautiful quilt! The blocks are all just wonderful I can't wait to see what I get back.

Do you think they need bordered? They do fill up most of the space on the white. If so, let me know and I will border them. Will have to go and dig awhile in fabric to find something. Off to do some more later.
