Thanx BOSS-LADY, I personally can not applique and was a little scared, I do plan to try machine applique soon :-) I will LOVE what I get fom everyone!! and my theme Batiks is very broad, whatever my partner wants to do as long as it is batiks, I would be happy with a 12.5x12.5 piece of batik material!! I have always liked batiks but to add that to my stash would be DANGEROUS   so this is my way to get some batiks!!

and if anyone steals this idea of sending me a piece of material no problem!!!

I want to play!

I've decided I want the jars also but I want big colorful flowers in my jar!
Use a black background around the jar please. The flower does not need a black background. Any size jar, any color lid.
:D

Good point-
Let's make BLACK backgrounds-hopfully that will help them blend together.
Any size and shape jar. So if you are feeling creative you don't have to be limited to the pattern. You can design your own.

You chose what to put in the jar. food, flora, fauna, etc.

It was really late last night when I signed up for the quilting bee. I wasn't clear about the link I sent. It was just a sample of colors the I like...pastels. I couldn't find a sample block to sample to show you so just created my own. Not sure what the block is called. I uploaded it to flicker...

I also tried to attach it...new to forums so not sure if it will work.

Is this a change from the roster list we received, which showed something like a folk art flower applique'? Want to make sure we do the right block for you!

Yes this is a change from the roster list, the link was just a sample of colors I like...I would never expect anyone to try applique a block like that! I am just in love with the colors she uses in her quilts :)
