I love that little hexie and it is so happy. Thank you for sharing. please talk to me about the border. That looks really hard. Scary hard.

Finished the pathway around the second flower in the grandma's flower garden. And I've sown the third flower together so it is time to add it. I love the way this one is moving right along.

Since I got my new black and decker iron I'm back at working on the made fabric for the pet b-o-m background. That's using up the scraps that came from those blocks so it is really a good use of them. They won't even get to the scrap bag before they get used.

Thanks for the kind words folks...
Re: hexie quilt
I think the hexie size is 3/4". The border wasn't that hard. I cut 4 border strips at least an inch wider and two inches longer than what I wanted. Make sure you have it wide enough to cover all the hexie "spaces" I appliqued two opposing sides to the border pieces. Then folded the ends at a 45 degree angle to mark the mitred corner. I repeated the applique process on the other two sides. Then hand sewed the mitred corners as it was such short seams...Then sandwich and quilt.

FYI I have a little yellow centered hexie quilt sewn that needs to be quilted...

I'll look forward to seeing that when it is quilted. Yellow centers are so cheerful. What did you use for your pathway fabric? did you do 1, 3, or more hexie wide pathways. Tell all about it. I'm really into these right now.

What happened with this puzzle was I first posted it with the B not showing. When I saved the puzzle off of the site where I made it the b didn't show up in the copy. so I posted the first copy and had some complaints so I looked and saw the mistake and reposted it. so there are two diff versions of this puzzle on the thread. One without the B and one with the B LOL sorry about that.

If I could fix mistakes without involving a mod I would have deleted the first one. I try not to bother the mods for such little things.

When I started this club I used to post word games relating to quilting. so I thought I'd pick it up again and post a new puzzle for those who like them.

Fun! Love word searches, see 3 right off.

Right now I'm working on a 4 inch (16 square) quilt patch to place in a apron front. Will show pic when done.

Have decided to frog the scrappy collage and start over. I don't like my top stitching. I was trying to run before I learned to walk. I will get there eventually.
