These blocks are awesome! They are going to make some unbelievably gorgeous quilts. Can't wait to see which ones I get, I want one of each LOL

My block looks so plain after seeing all these beautiful blocks. I am rather new and I am afraid to try something hard, But next time I am going to take a walk on the wild side. If it's not the best I'll just have to keep trying. Look out everyone Im breaking outside the box!! LOL

We all started with a ruler and a cutter and fabric. Just keep at it and you will be surprised at what you can do. If you need help or encouragement, you are in the right place!!

You should see my block - It's a simple pinwheel and I had such a hard time with it for some reason... I posted it because I thought it was boring but others really liked it!!

IMO, having only complicated blocks can make a quilt too busy looking. I think a good balance includes everything from simple to complicated and in between. I'd be happy to have a block from either one of you and am glad you have joined us here.

:-D

Just wait until you see what you can do and all that you learn. This is a wonderful, safe place to learn, so take the leap. You will be glad you did, and welcome. :-)
