    Thanks for sharing this site. I like the fact that almost all of the money is going to the American Cancer Society. I will be buying a lot of patterns from her. They are beautiful patterns. I am hoping to participate in the swap but need to wait to see what happens with my daughter. She is pregnant with my 5th grandchild and high risk. She is 34 weeks right now and her Dr told her on Monday that the baby had dropped very low already and he expects her to go into labor with in the month. This is baby number 3 for her and all have been premies with under developed lungs, so we kind of expected this to happen again. I still have to get baby Emma's quilt made before she gets here.

    Lori, I really think the solution to your problem, as others have posted, is to sew with a scant 1/4 inch seam.

    Take apart the block you have sewn, press and re-sew with that in mind.

    I think i would like to join your swap but the block i have been thinking of would start with a soaring eagle in the middle and then red white and blue probably log cabined around the eagle would this be ok????

    I can't speak for everyone else, but that sure sound GREAT to me!! I would love to receive one of those blocks in my return envelope. :thumbup: :lol:
