Have always wanted to try and make a fractured quilt block so did this today, my first ever, always room for improvement but don't think it's to bad. I'm trying to practice Rhonda and if your wall hanging isn't back here this weekend I'll make another and get it in the mail. In case some of you don't know I mailed mine to Rhonda on the 4th and they have lost it. It's the pits, 1st swap and lost. And you can put me down for this one, hopefully all will go smoothly. Have to keep this one since it's the 1st

Hello everyone. This will be the first time I will participate in an exchange on the QB. Since I have till near the end of June to get it done I can pace myself and start it on June twentieth. This will be fun!

    Important notice:

Due to some issues in the last swap I have had to put a cap on how late is acceptable.
I understand life happens and I have often been late myself so I don't want to be too hard on this.

Communication with me is key to making this work and be fair to all who are playing.
If you have issues like medical or family issues that are unavoidable please let me know as soon as you can.
Otherwise since this swap runs for 4 months I will be okay with a week or two over the mailing date. anyone that goes longer than that will not be eligible to sign up for the next swap. I will give a second chance to sign up for the one after that but the time limit needs to be followed.

It is so hard on those who are waiting for another month beyond the 4 months to get their wall hangings and we need to bring this back to a reasonable amt of time.

I started panicking that I was going to have to whip up a wall hanging on a moment's notice! LOL - (not as easy as making a Quilt Block)
so just keep the time in mind and let me know when things come up!

Thanks for coming along for the ride everyone!!

Thanks Rhonda. I have picked out my main pattern & have been pulling fabric from my stash but I too was afraid I was going to have to speed it up if the deadline was pushed forward. Everyone's are looking good.
I've been busy doing an Easter bag for each of my 9 grands so have only been able to quilt in small spurts.

Nancia, so glad you joined our group. And if you get my name, you know all brights, and hearts will be welcome.

Buslady, we (DH and I) will be moving to MI in 2 years. DH is from there - already bought the house. We will be living by Traverse City. Can't wait - well except for the packing.

pbadder, you're just begging for a picture of my avalanche, but many lives were lost under the piles of fabric and it would be disrespectful, and , um, hurtful to their relatives, and , um, too shocking for the rest of the world, so just picture the worst natural disaster you can, color it with wild prints, and there is my sewing room. YIKES!!

everose` i gotcha, brights and hearts!

pbadder that is too cute. Very creative. There would be a theme for a wall hanging. The messiest sewing room.

Everyone is so quiet in this room. Must all be busy sewing, sewing and more sewing. Want to see more pictures of what everyone is working on. I have my wallhanging ready to sandwich and FMQ it. I am now working on projects that I have had laying around for quite awhile. Sandwiched another UFO quilt for me to start FMQ on it.

New rule- anyone later than 2 weeks in mailing will be restricted from signing up for the next swap
Any exceptions need to be made by me. Life does happen and I realize that.
