I haven't mailed my package yet because of my label. I think I am going to send diamond shape pieces along for each to sign and then make a star and applique it on the back when it's all done. :) Mine will be in the mail tomorrow. Can't wait to see the one I get next.

I wanted to add...if you want you can add a funky animal to the label. It was my 9 yr old GDs idea and I agree with her...to cute.

Hi Karen,

I think that is a great idea. I like it.

But I'm confused. I send this row to frogquilter not to you, right?

Karen,

This is my first Row Robin, so I'm still learning.

What I take from your planning ahead is that (I hope this is not a stupid question) we each make the next row based on the previous row?

Then this means that (another stupid question, lol) I need to work with each ones fabrics, nor mine. For example: Swettness's theme is Celtic with jewel tones. This means that we all need to work her quilt with jewel tones, not that she is going to make all of her blocks in jewel tones.

Is this right?

You know those are good questions. I believe that we are all new in this group....well no I think Kathy has done them before. What you are saying sounds right, but I think it would be questions for Bookworm.

I just get over excited! and I have to drive 120+ round trip to get fabric. Planning is really important.

Just to chime in......

My understanding is that we all declared a theme and use of fabrics if we wanted something particular, which we all did at the beginning. I haven't done this before but what I get out of it is that I will stay with the theme and use of fabric for each person's quilt row. I.E. I will use jewel tones with a Celtic design on Sweetness's quilt and I will make farm block for Karen's quilt row, so on and so forth.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong....

Karen Mine is coming to you via UPS. I will PM you the tracking info. Hopefully this is just as good as delivery confirmation via USPS but where I work I can use our UPS for a fee but I get to skip the dreaded post office. :) Have a great weekend gals.

Christina
