I can't wait to see everyone's quilts when they get them done, I will get the machine embroidery design resized for next years swap, it has been torture not having access to my stuff while gone.

One down? Do I need to stitch bigger or smaller...or use different colored thread? Does anyone else have such trouble deciding these silly things?

How cute SherriR! I love your background & all of your Halloween fabrics. I love your thread choice! As far as a bigger or smaller stitch it looks like you used a zigzag stitch. I've been experimenting myself with different applique choices. I've always loved the blanket stitch. Satin stitch is just a closer zigzag stitch. Maybe we can have a discussion from everyone on what tips they've found when doing different Applique stitches.

With regards to the labels that are needed on the back of the squares being sent in, are they paper labels pinned to the square? I'm not sure about the protocol.... My first swap.
