If I haven't heard from you in a while by email, or you're not posting in this thread regularly, now's the time to comment or shoot me a message that you're still participating. If I haven't heard from everyone in the next week or so and I can't reach you by email, I'll have to take a look at moving around partners to cover. I really don't want to do that!

I should be finished with home decor gifts for my swap partner by end of this month but she hasn't posted on this thread much. Perhaps she is busy. I do see her postings a few other places on the board so she is still here. :-) If she is in my age range...she just might have forgotten she signed up for this. LOL!! I know that is why I haven't signed up for any more. Can only keep track of a couple at a time along with everything else that is crowded into my mind. Sure makes it hard on the hostess when all the sign-upee's do not help out. Not being mean, just thinking that folks get busy and forget.

Yep Sandy, it happens. The admins require that I keep up with the participants though, so I'm doing my "due diligence" and checking up on everyone since we're nearing a month since names went out, a.k.a. "halftime". Gotta make sure nobody abandons ship without me knowing about it!

Now I'm going to sew. Been helping my bestie clean up posts on her online yardsale group on Facebook all morning. People get so mad when you tell them they're not posting within the rules, or you delete their items because they abandoned the listing. I think I need some hot tea, a couple advil, and a little stitch therapy to calm my nerves a bit now.

YOU HOO ..... OVER HERE!!! Do you see me waving at you, I'm still participating - fabric is here; just finishing up something else first.

I've been following along up through this past Monday when the flu bug came calling; I haven't been sick like that since I had morning sickness thirty years ago. It's nasty; today I'm almost back to my normal self - what ever that might be. Should be able to start on this home decor project this next week.

My item is done and ready to post when Dustysmama says so. I would love to post it now but as it looks like I have been burnt in the mug rug exchange I will wait.

I started sewing today. I'm already wondering what I got myself into, lol. The couple people in this group who know what I'm making will understand why. But, I intend to see it through. OK, time to get back to it. I took a break to talk to a friend who is in Afghanistan while I watched an episode of Kitchen Nightmares and nibbled on some pistachios. Now it's time to crack the whip!

I'm almost caught up enough on my overcommitments to get started on this. In the last week, I have:

Made my mom's valentine's birthday table runner
    Mom's valentine birthday mug rug
Drove 6 hours there and back to see Elisabrat
    Finished my bachelor's degree
    Worked 50 hours
    Finished 3 more mug rugs

But have 16 blocks to finish and mail by Tuesday.

    I'll be back again soon.

Congratulations on finishing your degree! I know how reliving and exciting that is. I finished my bachelor's 17 months ago. Some days it felt like it would never be over, working full time, commuting an hour each way to work most of the time I was in school, and all the running from my son being in high school marching band most of that time too. It's a great feeling! Enjoy!!!
