Hi All- finishing up my needlecases, the unexpected houseguests go home on Saturday. Did not get home until after ten pm yesterday (I left for work at 6:30 am) as we went right out to dinner and let Bob Evans to the cooking. Dad seems to be doing well, but his hair is starting to come out a little. I think he's going to be fine. He told the doc that the cancer better change its plans as he isn't changing his. He's still planning on going to his 50th hs reunion, trying to convince him to fly as I don't think a 2000 mile (round trip) road trip is the best idea in the middle of chemo. He had to cut the planned longer trip, but the doc scheduled the chemo sessions so he can go.

quiltingdragon, glad to hear that your dad is still going to his reunion. It is all in the attitude. You are both still in my prayers.

Planning a trip to JoAnn's for more goodies tomorrow with my mother. That will be a fun trip. She has started two quilts. One for my brother and one for my son. She purchased the fabric for both 20+ years ago. We need to try to match colors. I need to shop for summer fabrics. Then to the "corner" I go!!

If you have not received your pin cushion or needlecase, hang in there. Mine may mail tomorrow, but at the latest on Monday. Work has gone crazy as the California Budget is a mess. As a fiscal advisor to the governor, I am a chicken with its head cut off.
